Overrated

Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

This movie is no big title. But it is very nice for watching with children on Sunday afternoons. The plot is about the 14 year old teenager Jamie, fighting for the attention of her parents after they got quintuplets. Kimberly J. Brown is a very charming actress. She won every heart of my kids and we all liked her smile and suffered with her pain. We also — in contrary to other reviewers — have liked the surprising effects when the movie stopped with the comment "no, i was just kidding" or when the picture froze and Kimberly popped out of the scene, explaining here mind.

I'm a fan of fantasy, and I usually like Disney movies. I also have twins, and love movies about multiple birth children. This one is horrible. The biggest problem I have with it is that it completely ignores so many real things that I just can't get past. If they had had the exact same movie with triplets, I would have gotten past it. Unfortunately, quints don't go full term, they don't come straight home from the hospital and the mother isn't walking around when she goes into labor. I just couldn't get past these problems. If they had the same movie with twins or triplets (I have twins) I could have gone along with the whole thing. I couldn't get past the first half hour.

First off, I just have to say that this movie has comedy, it has the ability to be charming, it is dramatic at some points, and it is a little sad. Kimberly J. Brown is very good at playing Jamie, as she was brilliant at playing Marnie in both of the exquisite and remarkable Halloweentown films. She possesses a very friendly format to the movie. She narrates it and tells the story with detail. It has more depth to it than most other Disney Channel Original Movies. Jamie's friends are Zoe, (Shadia Simmons) and Brad (Jake Epstein). They comfort Jamie and help her through her "quintastic" time. The parents of Jamie play their roles much better than parents in other movies I have seen. They both lead very busy and productive lives and tend to ignore Jamie. This movie had most everything I could ask for in an 80 minute time frame. If it seems worth it to see, I recommend you do. It gallantly deserves a 10 out of 10. I think because it just keeps you watching.

Get this: Teenage girl wants space from her parents. She gets it-by the arrival of five brothers and sisters, the ever-popular quintuplets. Now, I thought Kimberly Brown was excellent in "Tumbleweeds". She isn't horrible here, but could have used improvement. The worst acting came from Elizabeth Morehead, who plays the mom on the worst sitcom ever, "One World". Do I sense a pattern here? Bottom line-view it for what it is.
