In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

This movie is more than watchable type, it has everything comedy, tear, anger all good play by Kangana Ranaut she matches the role so nicely and delivered some good performance. Though I am not huge Hindi film fan it happen to attract everyone, This movie does not contain any bore times first 20 minutes kind of dramatic type then it catch up with good pace and run smoothly.Songs are pretty nicely choreographed, screenplay hold the ship till the last cut. Thanks to entire full film crew you have done good job and we had this spontaneous product.Cheers, PLF

A shy girl from Rajori Garden in a honeymoon alone in a different country to forget the agonies after being rejected before the wedding day because her fiancé has returned from London, she does not fit in his new world. In two chapters of her journey to two different places, she meets different people of different countries, alone on her own, gives her enough wisdom to find her self-worth. What amazed me in this film is how the fact the character of Rani was never judgmental, she was amazed, grief stricken, sad, cheerful, but never judgmental, yet she had her own preconceived notion of liberation and cultural shocks. While watching the movie, you also become part of her journey. The director has taken care of small details so well that some scenes come out alive. **On her mehendi, her own monologue about virginity and giving puja if all goes well. **The character of her mother, seems exactly like Indian mothers, her concern, her fear about her child comes out so well. **After rejection, she cries and sleeps in her room but when she wakes up , she eats, because she is hungry .A pretty normal thing in real life , but we hardly see these kind of scenes in Indian movies .**Her hesitation if she should go to other country alone or not inside the flight. **Her scenes with Vijaylakshmi **Her scenes with her 4 male friends, Initial hesitations, Church scene, the Driving car scene, Golgappa scene, First kiss, rock concert scene.-Just amazing. Story and screenplay is one of the best I have seen in recent years. Direction, Editing, Music, Cinematography all are so good that sometimes it becomes unbelievable that this is the second film of Vikas bahl. Now Acting from Rajkumar Rao to Lisa Hydon, From Alka Kaushal to the four friends all the characters are so well etched out and actors have done full justice. But it is Kangana who stays with you. Her accent, gesture, talking style, expressions are so good that it is not surprising she won National Award. Her transformation is also gradual, more from within. That makes her so close to real life. She deserves every accolade she got for the role. In last when Rani runs aways from Vijay to meet her new found friends for the last time to attend. It seems like the shy, timid girl has transformed into a beautiful , mature woman is inspiring. The songs are well written and goes with the flow of the film, It never comes as a stopper for this amazing film. Finally we all have a king or queen inside us. Just that we have to find him/her in our journey of all. No matter what you are the hero of your life, make it worth mentioning .Don't depend upon someone so much that your happiness and sadness starts depending upon them. Like the final song "Kinare" said (Why others, we'll ask ourselves only about the path to follow we'll find it here somewhere in the waves only)
