9.4 of 10. Dramatic presentation of a documentary. I.e., actors, sets, directors, sex added to a true story. On par with Michael Clayton, but better because it's not just a hypothetical story. More like Jim Carrey's I Love You Phillip Morris (2009) and Matt Damon's The Informant (2009) morphed together.I wish I had submitted this review earlier. The film certainly deserves more attention. Another film, released in 2013, Dallas Buyers Club, is also very similar in a couple respects (drugs and AIDS). DBC is by far the better acted and more action oriented, but the overall story of Puncture gives it a slight edge. Both are films that should be in top 100 of all time lists.Worth a Sunday double feature viewing as well as an awesome way to introduce and engage students in the subjects.

The movie was based on the true story of something we are unfamiliar with. Mike Weiss was real, it was his story, a lawyer who was a lazy, stupid, drug and sex addict. He fought for the revolution in a medical instrument to protect from most dangerous diseases from back in 90s.Yes the movie was good but little depressing due to the Weiss' attitude towards his case because of his playboy quality. The movie had no entertainment elements, it was fully plain as some pure drama. As I said not a bad movie, deserves a watch and you will come to know something you never knew (I just guess). That's called learning the truth and knowing the revolution like the movies 'The aviator', 'Flash of genius', 'Social network' etc.

Sometimes the formula pays off. This is one of those times. A true story of two struggling attorneys set out to change the medical world. Gripping until the final moments. Despite being a bit predictable I found myself sitting up right in my recliner for it's duration. At it's core it is a powerful story of greed and corruption. One that should not be missed.Chris Evans delivers what is his most moving performance to date. He stars as Mike Weiss a high performing drug addict. Despite his flaws I found myself smiling during his drug fueled rants and rooting for him as he fell deeper into his addictions. He lights up the screen every time he's on it and I never once wanted him to be in the background. Thankfully, he is not there often. Being someone who grew up around drugs and that sort of lifestyle I found his representation to be quite accurate of a driven man who just can't kick the habit. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Chris Evans has it.Everything about this film, from top to bottom, excelled for me. The direction and screenplay are both tight, but make no mistake about it this is the Chris Evans show and he delivers in a major way.10/10

Movies based on true stories can sometimes be dull and dragging, unless they are well-directed and this one is more than well-made.. the first hour which goes into building of the story is slightly slow-paced.But as the story unfolds, we come face to face the complicated deceit at mega-corporate levels - This movie shows how some of the large health service manufacturers stonewall any change affecting their profits - even if a million lives could be saved, dangerous diseases like AIDS and Hepatitis C could be reduced.. financial power, legal manipulation and finally criminal intentions..Performance of Chris Evans both as a young righteous lawyer and also as a drug addict is authentic..and Brett Cullen as the suave high-profile lawyer is effective..The movie at some level moves in the lines of "Erin Brokovich" another very good true-story-movie dealing the corporates, legal profession, health hazards and the strength of purpose
