... View MoreAfter a botched heist, Eddie (Bruce Willis), a murderous crime boss, hunts down the seductive thief Karen (Claire Forlani) who failed him. In order to win back Eddie's trust, Karen recruits her ex-lover and premier thief Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) to steal a cargo of rare precious gems. But when the job goes down, allegiances are betrayed and lines are crossed as Jack, Karen, and Eddie face off in a fateful showdown. Precious Cargo is not only an insult to the Action Genre but it's also one of Bruce Willis worst films to date from the acting to the plot to the action everything is awful, the dialogue is either about money, boobs or even dogs and sex. The plot is just thrown in your face and the characters are boring in every way, the performances by everyone is just bad and even WWE Diva Torrie Wilson has an appearance and she has a scene with Daniel Bernhardt and they talk about her breasts, Bruce Willis got a quick paycheck as always lately and Claire Forlani who plays Karen in the movie is Pregnant and yet somehow she can run perfectly or even shoot from any distance you want her to. The action is over the top and awful in every way that you can possibly think and overall the movie shouldn't even have a 4.6 it should have a 0 it was that awful..
... View MoreAnother poorly written heist movie with Bruce Willis as crime boss Eddie, Claire Forlani as Karen the thief, and the writer/director looking like a neophyte. The writer blatantly uses/rips off lines and scenes from other movies. A definite no-no if you are a writer with a degree who has studied his/her craft. The acting all around is disgraceful. Blame the green director. That being said, Script Pipeline, how and why did Max Adams' screenplay become a finalist in your 2010 competition? Something definitely smells rotten over at Script Pipeline. If the biased readers and judges at screenplay competitions and their producer sidekicks keep green lighting these horrendous flicks, the film industry will turn into an even bigger joke than it is now, and actors will go back to making 1950's wages. Wise up actors!!! Stop encouraging these poorly written screenplays to get made, and neophyte directors to direct you.
... View MoreReview: After an impressive beginning, and some flash opening credits, this movie was a right let down. The acting was pretty poor from Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Jack) and Claire Forlani (Karen), and the script was poorly written. Bruce Willis (Eddie) seemed a bit out of place through the whole film, and the action scenes were far fetched and way over the top. There were some humorous scenes, which made the film slightly watchable but the storyline is predictable and Jack, who looked and acted just like Chris Pratt, became annoying after a while. Although the film had a reasonable budget, it still seemed cheap, even though there is loads of explosions and gun action. I wasn't that disappointed, because Bruce Willis hasn't starred in a decent movie for ages, and he has been making a lot of "straight to DVD" movies lately, for the independent market. I did like the chemistry between Jack and his handy sidekick Logan (Jenna B. Kelly) and Daniel Bernhardt (Simon) played a convincing baddie alongside Willis but apart from that, it's just another average movie, that will be quickly forgotten. Average!Round-Up: This is the first movie directed by Max Adams, who also wrote this film, along with Extraction, which also starred Bruce Willis, and Heist, which starred Robert DeNiro but none of the movies were that good. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 42, is mostly known for his appearances on TV, in series like Pitch, CSI, Truth Be Told and Franklin & Bash, which explains why I haven't seen, or heard of him before. As for the rest of the cast, I did like Claire Forlani in Meet Joe Black but her career didn't really take off. Bruce Willis has really hit rock bottom, with films like Extraction, Vice and this film, and with another Die Hard movie in development, called Die Hard: Year One, it really needs to be a decent movie for people to start taking him serious again, although his screen charisma is pretty unique. Anyway, this film was pretty bad but it's watchable, if you've got nothing better to do.Budget: $10.5million Worldwide Gross: N/AI recommend this movie to people who are into their action/crime/comedies, starring Mark- Paul Gosselaar, Bruce Willis, Claire Forlani, John Brotherton, Lydia Hull, Daniel Bernhardt and Ashley Kirk. 3/10
