best movie i've ever seen.
... View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
... View MoreWatching it is like watching the spectacle of a class clown at their best: you laugh at their jokes, instigate their defiance, and "ooooh" when they get in trouble.
... View MoreIt is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
... View MoreTranslated title: Plop and the Penguin. Plop is a gnome that lives in a toadstool somewhere in a forest together with his friends. He's halfway famous with the kids in Belgium and The Netherlands and in that way I am exposed to it too.In this film a penguin ends up in the forest by accident and when the gnomes learn that something nasty is going to happy to it and its friends they decide to help out in a way that only gnomes can.Much better than the previous film (Plop in De Stad or Plop in the City) this one has an actual bit of story including a source of evil and some creatures that can be cared about, making it much easier to sit through this film without falling asleep than the previous one.The kid absolutely loved the film and that is the main thing with this kind of films so I am not complaining at all.6 out of 10 gnomes on ice
