what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This movie has multiple layers, each fascinating in its own right. One layer gives you a glimpse into ineptness of and corruption in Congress party which fails to recognize visionary talents. Other layer shows ceaseless bullying by USA and how they care least about international peace and care only about maintaining a stranglehold on other countries to maintain their super power status. Yet another layer shows the relentless patriotism, driving individuals to lift the nation to great heights, including the visionaries in often misunderstood nationalistic party, BJP.Yet PARMANU is not about the parties or countries it is about the burning passion a patriot has to make the impossible possible to change the future of the country while risking family and personal life. Its a great manifestation of will power to achieve the goal of making India a Nuclear State which catching the bully (USA) off guard.A must watch!!!

Perfect story. Great acting. You will have goosbumps in the last scene when you will see that tricolor flying high...only if you are a true Indian.

This is really a must watch movie not only its a patriotic movie but, its shows the hardworking of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and all the other who was involved in the Nuclear test. India has done it under the eye of USA and ISI. Afterwat ching moviw you realise the hardwork everyone put to make this movie. The storyline is strong, very well written, excecuted, presented and performed. John look so much improved with his acting and expression of emotion. He is getting improved with movies like Force 1, Madras Cafe and Rocky Handsome. In short please go and watch the movie and support this kind of work in future.

Pokhran test is one of the most important historic events of our nation. There was a huge potential to make this story a classic movie. But if you give an amazing story to a bunch of people who grew up watching typical Hindi Masala movie such as Hum Apke hai Kaun and so on, what do you expect?. This team has made this historic event into a typical Hindi Masala with songs, dance, overacting, poor comedy and so on. I was thrilled when I saw that a movie was made based on this incident, but I was totally devastated by the quality. Even the folks who gave high ratings here have not seen good movies in my humble opinion, but grew up watching the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan masala. Lakshya was a much better movie compared to this, even with the masala in it. Directors should understand the context, and avoid unnecessary fillings such as poor comedy, Love and so on. This movie should have been realistic, and not "masaledar", and as a patriot, I hate it when someone distorts a true story of National importance!!
