I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
... View MoreThe movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
... View MoreI didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
... View MoreA terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
... View MoreIn Pals Of The Pecos we once again have a title with absolutely nothing to do with the film. Though the Three Mesquiteers maybe Pals Of The Pecos, this film is set in California and it has Robert Livingston, Bob Steele, and Rufe Davis helping their friend Pat O'Malley get awarded a stagecoach franchise line. O'Malley plays fair and square, but Robert Frazer and his henchman Roy Barcroft most certainly do not.In fact they corrupt O'Malley's carousing son Dennis Moore into betraying his father and Moore pays with his life. The climax is a good one and it involved the guys trying to pull a stagecoach over a hill with the bad guys shooting at them.Lots of excitement in this 3 Mesquiteers tale.
