Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

If you want a comedy with time loop watch Groundhog Day. This is a very poor in comparison. It's a time loop so that he can grow as a person and truly capture the love of his life. Except in GHD he does truly grow as a person and turns out to live be what he once hated. In this he simply listens in to the guests conversations so he can steal a few workable lines so everyone thinks he's a better person. Also I was told this was a comedy. I was lied to, the acting is poor the story thin the jokes are few. Hardly worked up a grin let alone let out a laugh. The amount of time he has seems to differ depending on what part of the story is going on. At times he barely has time to do one thing other times does every thing with time to spare. Wish I was in a time loop and learnt not to watch this

I don't understand the reviews Ive read, them seem highly biased. This is Marlon Wayans best performance in years, it reminds me of his early work that made him the stand out member of his talented family.Regina Hall is perfect as always, if there was a sequel that focused on her character it'd make an amazing sequel.Watch this movie and make your own decision, some of the reviews I've seen are of a movie they thought they were getting.I was thankfully surprised to not guess anything correctly for the first time in a long time.

I think this film is amazing because of many things, it is very funny and the way that the church bell sends the character back in time, making him do everything he just did, do it again and it was funny when he joined in the marathon run when he was partially naked. the wedding part where we find out that one of the other characters tried to get the main character to cheat on his partner ended up shocking me when the prostitute admitted that she tried to pay her to sleep with him.

I would say that this is one of my favorite movies by Marlon on his own. I've been a huge fan of his in Wayan Bros, and I was so glad to see that he didn't go over the top with this film. I liked that the movie centered on a time loop and it was up to him to find out what the problem was. Great movie, and with a happy ending. I'm glad I took a chance on it
