Sorry, this movie sucks

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

It's a drama. I repeat the genre is a drama. If you don't like to watch drama movie don't watch this, but if you like to watch drama and want to watch a good one this is simply for you. One more thing, don't read review before you watch this because any review will reduce the impact of the movie. Just go and watch it or just buy it at the store and watch it with your friends. I'll bet your time will be spent well. It's not perfect but as i told you it is a very good drama to watch where you can experience a story of a community that live in the other half of the world. Please don't expect an educated or impressive dialog because it suit well with the community. I think the director ( and also the writer of the story) also aware about this. Now, go and watch the movie. After this point, I'll put some detail of the movie and this is not good for you if you still don't watch it and have the intention to watch it, Don't read below this sentence because therea are spoilers.I hope the director will continue to make a movie like this and improve it a bit and introduce some new elements like inspiration. The ending is so hard to take that made me think it's a waste of time for me to felt that way after watching a movie. Yes, I felt very bad and I think I want to kill the director. LOL. It's changed from very beautiful to very very sad. But from the other side, whatever feeling you'll have after watching it, the director was successfully made this movie. The actors performs very good, the cinematography create a feeling of question mark because it's not the same with what you see in everyday life but in a good way, the pace is very good except at the end, and there are several flashback to fully understand the plot. As for me, I hate flashback very much.Overall, this movie is great, it's almost a masterpiece, it's something different and many movie's lover will appreciated this.

I watched mountain cry last night and i was absolutely amazed. The movies still won't get out of my head. The first thing i noticed was the beautiful cinematography and how consistent the visuals were throughout the film. Every shot was beautiful too look at with an excellent soundtrack to go with it. The acting is superb. The two leads do a wonderful job and their romance is very believable and heartwarming. The female actress (yueting lang) in particular is excellent though she doesn't speak a word throughout the film. It is also developed very well. I love this movie, in fact i think it's a masterpiece. I was shocked to see that it only had 206 votes on IMDb. This film should be watched by more people. It is a gem! Highly recommended. I urge you to watch it!
