Better Late Then Never

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

Many reviews have stated that the subject matter is unsuitable for children. But actually the film contains some wonderful morals:1. Parents should have a good work/life balance; family comes first 2. Beauty isn't everything and fades eventually; people should love you for who you are, not how you look 3. Children should obey their parents and parents shouldn't shout and nag at their children 4. Don't let anyone bully you, and don't become a bully and lower yourself to their level 5. Being smart is useful; don't dum yourself down 6. Families can drift apart because of minor differences and misunderstandings, but small changes can bring family members togetherThe story keeps the film together and comedy is really good as is the animation. It's a kids movie and not the most original, however it's entertaining enough and kids will love it, plus take the opportunity to teach them some morals!

I love animated kids movies. Not this one though....Everything about this movie was ridiculous. I was just waiting for it to be over. It felt like they just threw it together. The "idiot" farting lazy dad was just gross and even if there was a lesson at the very end, it was a bad way to portray a father through a children's movie. I watched it for free too so not even angry about wasting money.... should have looked at reviews before watching with child.

Weak premise of accidentally phoning Dracula (who hasn't spoken to anyone in decades yet has a functional mobile phone on his person).Just weird. English actors yet it is set in America for some reason with no reference that this English family are living in New York, as well their English workmates and English school friends. I spent the whole time thinking it had been dubbed from an American-voiced version. Turns out that it was originally German language. Set in New York. So that's okay then.Not funny.Attempt at gaining "minion-power" with 3 cutesy silly bat characters is lame.There is just no heart to this. We could watch Hotel Transylvania over and over but this didn't hold our interest even once.

The only good in this monvie is the animation.Story line: terrible.Voices: bad choices.Creativity: miserable ZERODon't waste your time
