Overrated

This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

Sure many people are influenced by what they read and see in their youth. Daredevil has a special place in my heart because I was that boy. I could not fight, because my single mother would give me worse. The bullies never stopped, but I felt that my life had meaning when I endured all that pain only to find out that a comic book hero was just like me.All my life I waited to meet Stick. I so wanted to be a ninja kid from NYC.Well real life can be cruel, but the message is still there and I feel like it made me a better person. Point.Nexflix makes Daredevil. They make Stick, Stone and Shaft real! Kind-of.I know Stick had to die, there is a lesson in that, a sacrifice. But, if you can do a kindness for a boy from the Bronx that survived all that hell to become a decent man who loves Mystic Ninjas, don't let Stone be dead.Stick would make him the Trump Card. He can restore Elektra's soul with Ninja Magic (K'un-Lun Magic, or rather Chi?) and put a point on the good side in the War. That would of been Stick's plan all along. Black Sky a weapon for the Chaste, Stick's sacrifice not in vain.Don't let me down Netflix, Marvel, K'un-Lun, the Powers that Be, the writers or whoever this transmission will hopefully reach.I Believe, and I know somebody is watching. Thank you for making a good story great.

One of the best series I never seen before. highly recommended watching.

Tries to be a serious realistic drama and a fantastical pulpy comic at the same time. The comic stuff works. The serious drama aspect fails miserably. It is not grounded in reality at all. This is unfortunate because it is not only a complete waste but also detracts from the comic aspect. These two styles can not blend together. The final product comes off as though it is confused about itself. I did not watch Iron Fist but Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the Punisher are all superior shows with more focus.

I am not a huge Marvel/Superhero fan. I have grown so tired of this genre lately but this show will always stick in my mind.Fantastic storyline, great casting and brilliant character development. Cannot wait for the third season!
