Load of rubbish!!

Absolutely the worst movie.

A story that's too fascinating to pass by...

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

This is the first time in a while a movie has impacted me in a way that I could actually feel the emotion through, being a young person who has been unwillingly involved through a divorce really reached out to me, the quote "being alone isn't so bad" actually brought tears to my eyes, even though this wasn't the bigger part of the film it showed the stunningly prerogative Leila grow as a person and how to comfort, realize she found love and even though it had a rough patch, (like most relationships do) it still held such an honest concept of confronting those problems and doing just about anything for the love of your life. I was hooked and it wasn't because of the porn like aspect some see in this film. Yes, it is very erotic but that is what gave it a legitimate feel of love and connectedness. I honestly ended this film hoping that Leila and David (the two main characters) were together in real life. Such chemistry between them! A must see for those with an open mind and who love a good romantic ending.

This is a lovely movie. It's very sexy and timeless. Lie with portrays 2 people who both like sex and know how to use their bodies who both begin a journey where they look beyond their physicality.Leila is an extremely sexually confident woman who over the film, gets to know more about herself, finds a space for love once she overcomes her fears with the right guy. She may well challenge perceptions even now of what is acceptable for men and women because she is so sexually ''out there''.Both characters are beautiful to watch on screen. The sex scenes are shot really well, are sensitive, sensual but never feel pornographic in my opinion. Eric Balfour looks amazing and I expect a lot of people (including me) will have a crush on him after watching this! Watch this movie with an open mind.There is a lot here to think about and read between the lines with. It asks questions about the different types of love that people engage in. That sex can transcend/manifest into something else and shows how 2 people who both have fears about where their relationship is heading, learn more about what they truly want.Both characters look like they know the very first time they see each other that they connect; the fact that the movie allows the viewer to learn what they do with a fairly loose script (which works) speaks for itself in my opinion. It also covers a very small niche in the movie market for people wanting a movie with romance, is erotic, crosses boundaries, deals with human desire but done tastefully and sensually.

There wasn't much to appreciate. First of all it was overly pathetic. The profile of a character who is supposed to be very sensual, somewhat kinky, and very demanding in sexual matter, it just doesn't fit with her being so extremely poetic. I understand the amount of sexual charge in the movie finds its audience. I would even say this movie was intended to succeed on US market. I think the movie tries hard to be an intense experience. Way too hard for succeeding in it. I was so bored of watching it, that I managed to get thru it only to be able to review it to warn others. I'm actually a fan of Canadian film, but this fails all the possible expectations of the movie I could theoretically have. For the next 100 years I'll be sure to avoid pseudo-art and pseudo-porn. (Seriously, who's going to watch pseudo-porn nowadays?)

Not much I can say about this except it was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I don't even know if you can call it a movie, its more a softcore porn. this movie is trying to be more profound that it really is. Face facts, this is not a good porn film and not a good love story because it tries too much to be both. Basically, any movie with voice-over narration you know is in trouble because it means the story needs explanation that pictures and the actors' words cannot convey. Take away the narration and the movie would have been nothing, just 90 min of humping The ONLY reason I can think of it has 5 stars or any good reviews is because they are fake and from someone who worked on the film. do not waste you time, they owe me 90 min of my life for this junk :(
