Boring, long, and too preachy.

... View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
... View MoreThe movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.
... View MoreSuperman wants Batman to join his new superhero team, but Batman prides himself on being a self-sufficient loner. Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered portrays perfectly Batman being a stubborn and wanting to work alone when on the same time threw some hilarious events Superman and the rest of the Team try to bring him into the group and the end result is a terrific short Lego/DC film. (A+)
... View MoreThis is a cute short Lego film where Batman is being too proud to join the justice league because he feels better on his own. I can relate to this because when too many pieces of a team come together, we all want to be chiefs instead of one chief and rest of the team as an Indian of many. Or we'd rather be boss over each other. This place will never stop the power struggle over each other and tend to our own future businesses in the present moment. One team, one future for me. To live and to let all others who aren't choosing life on purpose every day, to die of their own free will/choice. Movies prove a lot of points and if we can find one common mission or goal between us, we'd all be living in our own freedom of choice (which is free will). In the end, does Batman chose to stay on his own or does he join the justice league? You'll have to see for yourself. Will you be on your own, or part of a larger team, working together for the common good of each other? Just like another reviewer says that Batman is typically better off alone because of the inconsistencies and the fact that he doesn't really gel all that well with the DC Universe. I am a batman in many way because I'm better off alone and left to my own imaginations of what my future might entail. Be the boss of your own imaginations. It might be the only way to deal with this kind of place.
... View MoreI was expecting a small children only movie. Or some other silly experience like Lego Elves. And this is a nicely done short movie with super heroes. Also, I have enjoyed how things in the Lego universe don't die or burn, but only get separated into the composing lego bricks.Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch
... View MoreAt half the length this TV special manages to be better than the Bizarro movie. Opening in Gotham City we find Batman tackling the Penguin and the Joker in a jewel heist when Supes shows up and offers him a part in the new Justice League. Batman refuses and somehow Supes is teleported away by a mysterious entity. While investigating with the rest of the League they too disappear one at a time until Batman confronts the real villain. The locations and models featured are fun, but I do believe that Batman has always worked better as a loner and doesn't gel with the rest of the shared DC universe due to the inconsistent tones. Composer Tim Kelly could have made this felt a bit more cohesive by using the familiar themes but once again he just gives us a cartoon score.Definitely worth watching, if unremarkable.
