All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Think of this movie as a comedy, or at least the title is. Not only is it killing time, it is also about killing time. This is refreshing take as the violence did not depend on being glorified ala John Woo but instead it went for the BLINK and miss it violence that occurs, but the periods of time between the killing is the joke. I hate to do this and reveal too much but one scene sums the movie up to a 'T'; Maria has turned the tables on an unsuccessful assassin and she kills time by trying to shoot an apple off of his already battered and bruised head. Violence has never looked so chic and menacing at the same time. I don't know if anyone ever wondered while watching movies but I always wanted to know what assassins did after they completed their hit and this shows us that on the outside everything is glossed up, but in the end it is a grind and just like any other job, it becomes routine. Seek out to see when action goes on a budget... now would be a perfect time to remake this flick as a comedy in the current economic time by having Maria taking any killing contract because of a need to earn money and then having to deal with the consequences of greed of the fast buck. Until then, give me the original over any Michael Bay movie.

Watched this film on the recomedation of my so called mate scott, little did i know what a pile of tripe it was, the film didn't know what it wanted to be and the use of Eastenders "Dan" (also of cliffhanger-"Loud mouth, punk slag fame") only added to the comedy. If youve got a mate who says it is good, he is lying or mental. Watch it if it is on tele.

The movie isn't really that good. People on low budgets shouldn't make action movies unless they plan to do a lot of martials arts in them. However Kendra Torgan is an absolute babe, the fact she barely speaks English in the movie just adds to her mystery. I don't know much about this actress, but would certainly look forward to seeing her in a movie that makes more of her obvious talents. There are some quite funny bits in the movie, like when she is trying to shoot an apple off one of her captive's head. Also the way she walks around with a learn English tape is amusing and it's nice the way the tape comes in handy at the end of the movie. On the whole though I'd only give the movie 4 out of 10.

Ever since films like Trainspotting and Pulp Fiction, novice filmmakers everywhere have made attempts at creating unnecessary conversational dialog that isn't paramount to the movement of the story. That is my biggest complaint about Killing Time. Characters who spend most of their (and mine) time chatting about a subject we couldn't care less about. Nalluri's direction of action sequences was slow and completely lacked suspense, ripped straight from Luc Besson. The only thing this film has going for it is its lead actress, Kendra Torgen. Extremely beautiful with her icy blue eyes that conveyed no mercy. Hopefully we'll see her again. But her talent is wasted. She's given nothing to do. No good assassin would use a victim as target practice, and let a bell-hop in when she knows he'll have to die if he sees what's going on. And why did she have one gun with a silencer and one without? Luckily, I rented this mess on $.99 cent Sunday at my video store. But still, I could've had a bag of Doritos instead.
