Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

After noticing it in the video store for months, but never hearing anything about it, I was reluctant to rent it. Personally, I enjoyed it. Firstly the character of Maria is gorgeous and very calculated, but the gun fights lack immensly in realism (for example, one such scene has about twenty men with semiauto handguns each, and she doesn't take a single hit... hmmmm) and some of the things the characters do make you question their intelligence (target practice on a dead body in a five star hotel without a supressor, for example). However, the plot develops nicely and the ending is fairly well thought out.

Lacking the gritty tension of other northern gangster movies (eg Get Carter). Could have improved with a bit more humour (the shadow-play & Evian trick were highspots of the movie). Lighting-camerawork did little to create the appropriate drama. I hope we see Kendra in a speaking-role soon.

The movie isn't really that good. People on low budgets shouldn't make action movies unless they plan to do a lot of martials arts in them. However Kendra Torgan is an absolute babe, the fact she barely speaks English in the movie just adds to her mystery. I don't know much about this actress, but would certainly look forward to seeing her in a movie that makes more of her obvious talents. There are some quite funny bits in the movie, like when she is trying to shoot an apple off one of her captive's head. Also the way she walks around with a learn English tape is amusing and it's nice the way the tape comes in handy at the end of the movie. On the whole though I'd only give the movie 4 out of 10.

A smart, involving little movie using only three major sets and a tight cast, Killing Time was a movie that I'm planning on checking out again. The twisty story involves the murder of a cop. The cop's partner hires an Italian hit-woman to kill the man who murdered his partner, but he cannot afford her price so he hires another hit man to kill her off. And then the fun begins. The female assassin is interesting and you can't help but root for her as the hit man and his idiot accomplices plan her demise. The title, Killing Time, fits well too as the passage of time is handled well. While the Assassin waits for her chance to kill her mark, she takes baths, learns English from an instructional tape...all the sort of things one might do to pass the time away.An interesting movie where nobody is the good guy. Check it out, for an appealing heroine, realistic gunfighting, and some great catchphrases. Good stuff!
