Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
... View MoreExcellent, Without a doubt!!

... View MoreA lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
... View MoreHe was trying too hard and this stand up was very hard to watch. I felt embarrassed for him. Some of the content was iffy... I did not laugh at all throughout the whole show and i played it twice to see if maybe I had missed any laughs.
... View MoreI like Kevin's stand up. Or I used to. Now I think he's doing so much he cannot keep up with the quality of his previous shows.Watching "What now", two things kept hitting my mind. 1. His ego has grown by a lot. Why is he wearing so much gold bling? I would've liked him just having plain clothes on, not all that gold jewelry. His initial sketch was also so blown out of proportion to what is the point of stand up: your comedy. It was not comedy. It was like he was promoting himself being a movie star.2. You could invent a drinking game out of Kevin's stand up. Whenever he says the following, you need to take a shot: "True story", "I'm not gonna lie", "My biggest fear". Those are the three things I picked up that he keeps constantly repeating in his sets. It gets annoying. So far his biggest fear is getting knocked out in front of his son, a raccoon who shoots at him and getting photographed on a public toilet. At least those are what I remember.I was totally impressed by the show however. The show. Not his stand up. The show. It was amazing that he sold out such a huge stadium and had such a huge stage. The audio and visual effects were fun, but I felt like they don't really belong in stand up. Felt more like a TV show sketch.
... View MoreA lot of times I read reviews off of IMDb and almost miss out on good movies because of the bad reviews I've read. That's why I say make your own assumptions. Personally, I laughed hard on Kevin Hart's "What Now" movie. I watched it with my wife and two of my buddies. If you have one of those nights of hanging out, having a couple drinks and want to laugh...then put on this movie. Yeah, he did it different and the first few minutes it's like a movie but even that part was pretty funny. His stories about being scared, his kids, his dad and so on had me in tears a couple of times.People today are real uptight and sensitive babies. If you go into this just wanting to laugh then you'll enjoy yourself. That's all I'll say about that.
... View MoreKevin Hart's new stand up movie was a big hit but was it any good? First of all intro for the stand up was really nicely done. It had a good approach and there was some nice looking scenes with mostly funny situations. Then it took turn to stand up and there was a nice try to to keep it funny. First half of the stand up act was pretty boring and joke were on some very low level and he tried to move crowd with his acting and giving a performance but it was not enough as he just did not deliver jokes as we are used to. Then came second half and he was all over the place, instantly he felt like Kevin and joke felt original giving a good thing to the movie. From that point it was extremely funny and there are some of the best jokes that he ever had. There is a lot of room for improvement and there are things to learn from this movie. Considering there could be a lot of work to do left for him it was alright movie. 2.5/4
