Memorable, crazy movie

... View MoreDon't listen to the naysayers. Most of them are probably anti-Muslim and don't want the Muslim director and writer to be successful with this independent effort. Yes, it is very much like a television series pilot movie. And what's wrong with that? We all like TV even when we pretend otherwise.Good TV shows are hard to find. If this had been successful, it would have been closely like Supernatural, only more serious instead of campy cute guys one-lining their way through disasters. Jinn, or Djinn, have an interesting history in our ancient literature, and not just from Muslim sources, although I believe it may have started from there. Ancient Hebrew also have literature regarding the Jinn. If you watched Noah with Russell Crowe, you would have seen a major reference to the Jinn. It is, indeed, a part of our ancient stories of our beginnings which has been forgotten.True? I dunno. But definitely fun. Too bad so many stinkers had to rate this as if it should have been a blockbuster film instead of a really good potential TV series. Some folks are real wet blankets.Watch it, rate it, and maybe someone in power will decide to give it a go.
... View MoreUnlike some reviewers, I found the acting and FX passable, and at times even well done. I certainly have seen a lot worse. My biggest problem is with this monstrosity of a melding of three religions. What a mess! You have to be a moron to think there is any reconciling of these three religions, since you'd have to vacate all their essential teachings to do this. Also, the entire mythos of the Jinn just falls flat from the beginning. The verse from Ezekiel 1:13 read in support of their existence is totally out of context and has absolutely nothing to do with any Jinn; rather this verse describes the Seraphim who surround and guard the throne of God, and there are only four of them. They are also described in Revelation 4:6-9. They are not a "third race" but a special class of angelic being, those closest to God throne. But if you suspend your incredulity for an hour or so, the film is nice entertainment. I have no wish for a sequel to this pretentious hodge-podge of cosmological muck. One is more than enough, thanks!
... View MoreI watched this movie to learn what shouldn't do when shooting a movie. If your time is not important to you and if you curious about how a movie can be done without a story and acting this is the right movie for you.The guy who played Gabriel in this movie is known as Darth Maul and snake eyes; lets just say if this guy doesn't has a mask on his face don't watch the movie.Who wrote this movie shame on you, you just used Islam for such a bad story.Whole movie looks like written at weekend for a homework of a highschool student.
... View MoreThe only good thing about this movie is the trailer. How were the makers of this movie were able to put together a good trailer is what surprised me the most while the movie is so predictable ,annoying, terribly acted, that i am surprised how were they able to pull it.Specially what with the double-triple roll, there was content decent VFX but the plot was absolutely terrible.I just get down to the acting the protagonist is terrible at everything, lacks acting skills zero emotions.on the contrary i would like to ask the makers why make such a movie???
