Ghosts of Girlfriends Past Trailers

Celebrity photographer Connor Mead lives life in the fast lane, committed to lifelong bachelorhood and simultaneous relationships with multiple women. On the eve of his younger brother Paul's wedding, Connor's mockery of love proves a real buzz-kill for everyone - including his childhood crush, Jenny, the one woman who always seemed immune to his considerable charms. Later that night, he gets a wake-up call from the ghost of his late Uncle Wayne, the hard-partying, legendary ladies' man who was Connor's mentor. Uncle Wayne has an urgent message which he delivers through three ghosts who guide Connor on an eye-opening tour of his romantic past, present and future. Along the way, they attempt to discern whether he will ever be able to change his ways -- and if there is any hope of him finding true love.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

It's not a masterpiece but Jesus, calm your farm and enjoy it for what it is. No one did a bad job of acting, it's a great line up, and regardless of the unoriginal message in it, SADLY we live in a world where WE NEED this reminder CONSTANTLY. So STFU and just appreciate it.I was expecting garbage and finished up pleasantly surprised. Anyone with high expectations, just P*ss off and find something else to be miserable about!Again, it's not Oscar winning, but I enjoyed it and I HATE romance films.

You know what? I really liked this movie. Even though I pretty much despise and detest Matthew McConaughey, I still had a really fun time with this movie. That also goes for Jennifer Garner, I don't like her much either. Emma Stone is so funny in this movie, she just steals the show. She makes you think that you're watching a comedy, as apposed to a romantic comedy, which it apparently is. Don't get me wrong, I really like the romantic side of this movie. The actors are funny and very talented. This movie is about a boy and girl, who fell in love, but then fell out of love. The whole movie is based around Connor and Jenny's relationship. They were best friends when they were kids, then they got together during their teen years, and then a few years later, rekindled and hooked up. But because Connor was afraid of commitment, he left her in her bed, alone. They obviously didn't stay together. Now, a few years later, at Connor's brother's wedding, we see the pair meet once again. Connor doesn't know how to fix it, and when he goes up to his room he meets the Ghost Of Girlfriends Past. This ghost takes Connor on a spiritual journey to see how his life should be, instead of what it is. The movie ends with Connor and Jenny getting back together, which is a predictable ending, but an ending I wanted to see.Overall, I give this movie an 8 out of 10.

Matthew McConaughey realised he was overdoing the rom coms soon after this film was released. I doubt he would be making one anytime soon and frankly he is not getting any younger and realised himself that its no use wasting talent for an easy pay cheque. Dallas Buyers Club and a best actor Oscar means that this is the last from the Matthew rom com period. The film is a reworking of Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol' in fact at one point Matthew shouts Merry Christmas from an upstairs window when he has a nightmarish spiritual experience. He plays a serial womaniser Connor Mead. A talented photographer but a mistake from his past and because of the influence of his womanising uncle (Michael Douglas) he lives for the moment, sex with many women and avoid any long term relationships. On the eve of his brother's wedding day Matthew is visited by three spirits who want to show him that his shallow life is not as great as it sounds and might lead him to die alone and we seem him as a youth regretting the loss of his love (Jennifer Garner). The film is not really very romantic, Matthew might live for the moment just like his beloved uncle, but no one focuses on the women who fall for his cheesy moves and pick up lines. Why no one asked the women; why fall for a lothario for less than a minute of sex in a toilet cubicle or such like?McConaughey and Douglas (channeling legendary film producer, Robert Evans) make a great team. The film has a few laughs, not much drama. Easy going but no depth.
