I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

I saw this one in theaters when I was seven years old, and it was one of the funniest movies I ever saw. The dialog made me laugh and the idea was interesting, although not the best in a movie. I was a big fan of the original Garfield movie so I believed in the sequel. Both of them inspired me to read the Garfield comics regularly. Maybe this movie's not exactly a masterpiece, but there are some funny parts, like when Garfield breaks out of the kennel. If you ask me, that was the best part, but the rest of the movie was funny as well. If you don't like it, that's okay. I just don't think it deserved the attention it received, because it was a great movie and it was definitely worth watching.

Garfield is the star of the film so how much you enjoy the film does ultimately depend on how much you like that orange cat and that mix of animation, voiced by Bill Murray, with live action. There are also a lot of funny but but perhaps not hilarious gags- although many pretty good really , particularly when taken in the spirit of the film which is a jolly family friendly & slightly anarchic. Well the cat and animals rule the palace! Better than the first film. I like the version of the prince & pauper but with cats and it was a good idea to move the location to Britain to give the fresh perspective. It's the animals that star ( all real apart from Garfield) although with good back up from Billy Connely as the villain of the piece trying to get rid of Prince (garfields rich double) who stands in his way of inheritance.

This sequel to Garfield is marginally better than the original. It's still not very good though. Bill Murray sounds bored as he voices the sardonic lasagna-eating cat. The plot is just an excuse to go to England and involves a Garfield double voiced by Tim Curry. There are lots of talking animals as in 'Babe' but minus the charm. Billy Connolly tries his best to rise above the material and partially succeeds. Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt simply aren't needed in the storyline. While kids may like the film, adults will probably be bored. Best seen using the FF button on the remote.Overall 3/10
