It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

Well, when I saw this film yesterday I had no idea it was a continuation of two previous titles, so I may have lost some jokes in here. However, this film is still understandable and interesting for those who also didn't see the previous.Ice Cube's character (Craig) and Day-Day are two funny cousins that live together and need money to pay the rent after a mean Santa Claus steal theirs. So they decide to work as security guards, but they aren't able to help an elderly cross the street, so you can imagine how many troubles they get in. These comedy films with black cast are usually this funny and full of confusions, so I usually enjoy them. Ice Cube and Mike Epps are hilarious guys, specially Epps, so you will have a good time watching this. Of course it's not gonna be a life changing movie, but it entertains and delivers what it promises.

I liked Friday After Next better than Next Friday - my son and I fight about it all the time. Some of the old characters are back including Witherspoon/coordinate and a next door female admirer . . . what could she be thinking. Classic comedy scenes are abundant and the scene with Kat Williams/Money Mike is running from Damon and the Pimp Down scene are hilarious. The thievin' santa premise is great. Day-Day is forever clueless and manages to totally mess up whenever possible. I even like the soundtrack. Totally hood related comedy - if you have an open mind, you will have a ball laughing. And, if we could get Chris Tucker back, it would be on! All you haters, Friday After Next is a the comedy classic right behind Friday. I don't know what a good title would be for the next one, but I can't wait til it gets here.

It won't be a classic like "Citizen Kane", nor does it have the gravitas of "Do the Right Thing" or "Bamboozled", but "Friday After Next" will be remembered as a hilarious insider's view of trials and tribulations of Craig and Day Day in South Central LA during Christmas. The language and jokes are funny but raw and definitely meant for adult audiences (this isn't a Christmas flick for the kids). However, the honest humor and authentic emotions make you feel like a fly on wall of Moley's donut shop. With all do respect to Raboy and Ice Cube, it seem like there's no script or director. This is meant strictly as a complement. Were these guy's making this stuff on the spot — "strictly for municipal uses only" and "Do you hear me now? Do you hear me now? If you have an open mind and enjoy a good laugh, you'll love Friday After Next.

ENJOY....POSITIVES-1)Anna Maria Horsford(big Amen fan here)2)Sommore, never been to crazy about her "typical loud-mouth black chick image" but it was nice to see her take a backseat to a more dominating character in comparison to what her stand-up act dictates3)K.D. Aubert(I'll excuse her for Soul Plane), just nice to look at, nothing more, definitely nothing less4)Mike Epps'..."Nah, a ni**er did this"5)Terry Crews, this guy just keeps getting funnier and funnier(as seen in White Chicks)6)D.C. Curry's...Grab me? Grab that ni**er that stole my watch!!!7)Money Mike's entire comeback rant after being robbed, if I didn't know any better I'd swear he was a real pimpNEGATIVES-1)Another Friday movie, come on now, if Chris Tucker is nowhere to be found, keep it on the drawing board2)Ice Cube's neverending attempt to relive his NWA days...the persona gets old after the first five minutes3)Money Mike...another pimp in an African American film, big surprise there4)Rickey Smiley, is there a more annoying human being on the face of the earth5)Not that I'm championing the fact they made "Next Friday", but the most interesting character from that unwatchable piece of crap could of at least garnished more screen time in "Friday After Next"
