A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

i have to admit,i wasn't sure what to expect with this third and final installment in the Friday franchise.what i didn't expect was to be blown away like i was.this i one entertaining movie.it's moves a lightning pace, and it's over before you know it.i wouldn't say it the funniest of the three Per say, though are definitely some funny moments.it's just immensely entertaining.the story is very engaging, and the characters of Craig(Ice Cube)and Day Day(Mike Epps)are more likable than ever.all tolled,i think this is the best movie in the franchise, and that's saying something.by the way, look for Mike Epps in a hilarious(and unrecognizable)role as the old man with the shotgun.anyway, this is one Friday worth waiting for.for me,Friday After Next is an 8/10Friday (1995)Next Friday (2000)

If "Friday" was successful it was because of Chris Tucker. If "Next Friday" failed it was because of the unfunny Mike Epps. "Friday After Next" recaptured the appeal of "Friday" with the addition of Money Mike (Katt Williams) and Damon (Terry Crews). Those two were absolutely hilarious. Money Mike was full of one liners as the short yet stereotypical pimp. Damon filled in nicely for the menacing but now locked up D-Bo. In fact, I would say that Terry Crews did an even better job as a bully than Tiny Lister. Terry Crews definitely has more range than Tiny Lister, and the writers must have realized that Mike Epps and Ice Cube weren't good enough to sustain an entire movie. "Friday After Next" didn't maintain a steady flow of being funny, but it did have enough laugh-out-loud moments to be considered a funny movie.

What is with black humor? It is not funny. It is lame, boring and has nothing to do with laughing. It is mild chuckling at its best as it points out the obvious using sexual misconduct, uncreative drug references and hip hop ebonics that only appeals to young hoodlums. Getting high and making a jackass out of yourself while avoiding getting shot in the "hood" is hardly a joke in my neighborhood. I guess when you are high, nothing else matters when everything that shouldn't be funny just is. In fact, I am laughing right now as I type this. Am I high? Is this funny? Want to go steal a childs bike and ride it around the neighborhood while I chase Ice Cube and make threats to his bimbo prostitutes for girlfriends? Is this even worth my typing? I guess I simply do not care. Which is the point I am trying to make... this movie is not worth caring about in any way, shape or form.Maybe next time Hollywood will think twice before releasing stupid crap.
