The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I've seen this movie twice, the first time was years ago I remember it being a bit slow but feeling worthwhile in the end.The second time I watched it (yesterday) I thought that the beginning is indeed mindnumbingly slow and was really bored for the most part of the first hour but after the hour had past I started to understand just why I decided to rewatch it in the first place, cause the ending throws a cool twist on you.But in the end we have to judge a movie as a whole and not just based on the fact that it finally got good in the last 25 minutes, and the first hour really is not that great at all, even less so on the rewatch because every little clue is so amazingly obvious. The acting is okay, the characters don't really feel all that real though a bit stereotypical. So maybe just watch one time if it's on cable or something.

Instinctively directed by Jack Heller with skill and flair, this is an absorbing science fiction film that you can't put down. The script is smart and large, the production values are nothing less than good at all times. A beautifully presented tale of people lost in the woods and striving to make sense of a mystery situation of unbearable tenseness. The young actors are superb and obvious is the fact they are up and coming in the truest sense of the description. Challenge anyone to stop watching this fabulous film after they have started and you will be confronted with kudos. For this is cinema as it is meant to be photographed and drama of the highest form.

This movie was enough to keep my interest from the beginning, it was okay, but I can only give it a four because to me it was just a drawn out Twilight Zone episode. I did however enjoy the fact there were not very many CGS scenes. I liked the way it was filmed, maybe because of budget costs, but they did do good for what they had to work with. Actually, I think if they had had a bigger budget they would have done great! The actors they picked played the parts well. What a real surprise was that they were pretty good at picking out the costumes for each character without giving anything away of the plot. So for all in all a four. I don't know if this studio has done anymore films but I would be interested in finding out more. Peace!

This is a story that has been simplified (after market) when reading about what is on TV. For instance, any TV Guide kinda place, leaves out a lot of info which makes this an uninteresting movie to want to watch.I found myself trying to get through the awkward bad acting of the first 25-30 minutes and was surprised that at the time I was about to trash the thought of watching this, the movie quickly became smooth to watch. And this film did not falter after that. It is an excellent storyline and the ordinary person will find out what is going on about half way through, then they will want to watch it to the end.KUDOS to Scott, he was such a found charm. Katherine and Sara were the foundation of this film. Without their abilities this film would not exist.Because I loved the story so much I wanted to know who wrote this and really, it did not come as a shock to find out that Shawn Christensen was involved. I so much loved Abduction (TAYLOR LAUTNER)
