It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

What a amazing experience! I do a lot of videoing myself and am thrilled when once in a great while I am able to capture some of natures beauty and mysteries so when I see something like this that is one incredible shot after another there are no words to express what I really feel. I bought this disc not knowing anything about it. It ranks as one of my very favorite film experiences. In every way this a superior achievement. Does the 3-D really add to the experience? YES!! The Extras showing how the various shots were made are something special too. The film took 2 ½ years to make and cost a fortune using state of the art equipment and people to capture things that we would otherwise never be privileged to experience. HIGHEST RATING!

This is not so much a nature documentary, as a lesson in how NOT to make a nature documentary. It feels more like a student project made by someone who has seen way too many David Attenborough films, and try their best to mimic his style, without any of the talent. That's not to say it's all bad: The cinematography is quite astounding at times, and there are plenty of images which will leave your mouth agape. But the hamfisted voice-over is nothing but a constant stream of on-the-nose awkwardness, the forced segways constantly pull attention to themselves, and the incoherent story-lines break every rule of storytelling. And to top it all off, it ends with an unbelievable bad final scene showing children dancing in slow-motion to an absolutely horrendous soundtrack whose lyrics beats you upon the head with its message. It has the subtlety of someone crashing a plane into a skyscraper, and leaves you with just about the same feeling.

BBC takes us on visually charming path through the Africa. From hottest dry places on Earth to the deeps of the ocean. Capturing only the most beautiful and interesting behavior of the animals and plants, so it's actually even more magnificent than in the real life. Whole movie has a quite magical tone and Idris Elba as a narrator really helps. His narrating is very simple at the same time, so even the younger ones will enjoy this. It does not have to be seen in 3D to appreciate it's potential. In the end, it leaves warm feeling of love and respect for the nature inside you and that is, I think, what filmmakers meant by this.Well done BBC...as usually.

This is a review of "Enchanted Kingdom" (look at BBC website etc, its not called Enchanted Kingdom 3D, IMDb is in error.)A Nature Documentary that takes you all over the world.Beautiful scenes and camera work, interesting, and sometimes comical animals. Like the dancing desert lizard.Leaves you with a fun and positive message.Idris Elba (aka Stringer Bell) did a great job with the Narration as well. The narration is done to a general audience and not panders only to children (Like Bears 2014), which is great.
