As Good As It Gets

When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

A devil worshiper wants to use a woman as the mother for a devil offspring, but she escapes and seeks help from a group of friends in a old mansion. The Satanist resurrects a horde of mummified corpses and orders them to attack the woman and her friends.The film was made on a low budget and it shows in some of the acting and effects. The pacing could've been better, but once the zombies show up it gets fairly entertaining. There is a lot of creepy atmosphere in the horror scenes and it feels very inspired by horror films from the 70s and 80s. The rubber masks used for the zombies are very reminiscent of films like Creepshow and Burial Ground for instance. Good choice of location as well.Overall, for something made by people with little experience and money this was a well done film.

The minute I watched it, I knew it was going to be incomparable to the high budget films. And will be composed of unknown movie stars, and maybe yearlings in acting. Sp the benefit of the doubt, I watched it in it's entirety. If this movie had the budget of "Walking Dead" or Conjuring, this would make a great movie. Many aspects of the high budget movies is because of special effects. Although the effects of this movie is not high tech, they did a very good job. The script and acting is not bad either. It teaches me to appreciate the performing arts even more, and shows me that part of the world is highly competitive.

DEMON RESURRECTION is a shot-on-video horror flick that's a little better than expected. It takes a while to get going but once it does so it provides a little charm here and there as well as riffs on well-worn themes. The worst thing about it is the writing, with the characters all acting like dorks and not much intelligence from beginning to end.Things open with a slow first half, complete with an extended sex scene and ample nudity, so much so that you could mistake this for a porno. After a black magic ritual takes place there's a great deal of talk, but things pick up with the arrival of some great-looking zombies who could have stepped out of an Italian horror film. What follows is a kind of action siege scenario, albeit done on a very low budget. It's not brilliant, but for this type of indie film it's quite well considered and enjoyable.

How the fck is this rated so high? So many instances of downright retarded decisions. We will review some point by point. The people in this movie -you guessed it- chose 'b'.If there are dozens of demons swarming an idiot with a tire iron do you (a) wait for them to kill him and then attack them with your little axe or do you (b) run the fck back into the house. The people in this movie -you guessed it again- bully for you- chose 'b'.Basically, dear reader, the annoying thing thru out the whole movie is how people just stand there or wait there until they get attacked even though they had ample time to take off or do something to help themselves. It is a badly made movie and deserves no more than '3' stars. Love, Boloxxxi
