When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

As a great suspense/thriller/horror fan, I give this movie only 2 star just for the first half cause it had everything to be a great suspense horror survival movie...but it didnt developed that way...it even had some flaws with some definitely poor decisions just to keep the movie going...so they can make the movie be an hour and a half...I mean...cops sitting on the top of the rock and she did not put the hand on horn...she goes exactly at the cabin where he is at....an officer is missing a whoooole day and no one bothers to search for him!?!? I mean gooosh...the movie was like it was made by a teenager who was bored spending his mommy and daddy's money. You can watch the first half and than just turn it off.... for the sake of your time..

Simple movies are often the toughest to pull off. The "Keep it simple stupid" mantra doesn't really apply to film making. There have been some tremendous films over the years which could be considered simple in nature, but as a general rule they are few and far between. A recent example of a successful film like this was '127 Hours', and it's no coincidence that 'Curve' is very similar and also a very good movie. It takes a slightly more sinister and thrilling approach, yet a large portion of it remains almost exactly the same. The human will and desire to survive at all cost always makes for fascinating viewing, and this case is no exception. There's more to it than just that aspect of the film though. Teddy Sears plays the villain excellently and reminded me a lot of the killer from Dean Koontz book 'Intensity'. He had a fascinating mysteriousness surrounding him and some of the lines he speaks are clever and well written. Julianne Hough in the lead role is also excellent. With the amount of screen time she was always going to get it was crucial to find someone likable for the role and I think they cast her perfectly. She has no upcoming work scheduled in I notice, but surely it's just a matter of time before she signs on to something. She's a real talent, with the looks to match. I really enjoyed all aspects of the movie. There's something there for everyone and I think most will be surprised how entertained they find themselves.

Not gonna spend a lot of time on this one. "Curve" stars Julianne Hough (TV's "Dancing With The Stars") as a bride-to-be who veers way off track with an unhinged hitchhiker on an ill-advised back road detour to the wedding.Pretty standard fare madman-menaces-beautiful girl (and Hough stays STAGGERINGLY so even after being beat up in an over the cliff car crash) fare with some pretty fair acting from the damsel in DEEP distress. Hough actually does one helluva job here in practically the worst predicament possible. This includes those SERIOUSLY squeamish interludes where a girl does what a girl's gotta do for makeshift nourishment. Eeeeeeewwwwwwww!!! I won't delve into the seemingly standard requisite moments of implausibility in "Curve" as they are readily apparent even if you're only HALF paying attention. I will make mention however that even in this modest movie I expected more from the ending than the cath...no, wait. I won't say it.If you should find the free time and you choose to fill it with this small-scale suspenser, you will then indubitably be able to complete this adjective I have chosen, as a serial sans-spoiler, not to.

Saw this last night and it was actually pretty OK nothing special it didn't had great acting or a great script and the story isn't something that we have seen millions of times and they have done it miles better. But i got to give them credit although it moves pretty slow it kept me entertained i wanted to see if the girl would survive and run away from that dude. Also i think the ending was OK but kinda rushed it's not a film i would see again and you will probably forget it the next day but see it only to waste your time if you are bored. I give it a 6.5 out of 10 nothing special but not that bad also Julianne Hough is beautiful!!!!
