An exorcist with psychic powers named Unsui claims that the show’s subjects, the Kaneda family, are cursed by a demon that’s too powerful for him to banish on his own, so he calls in a fellow exorcist to help. Soon, a reckless ghost hunter enters the fray as the three idols witness a series of terrifying events.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

That might be the worst movie i've ever seen. I'm not much of a "acting is so important" person, but yeah; the acting was so bad that even a 5 year old can do better, promise. The movie is about burnt matches taking over souls and stuff. I am a big fan of Asian extreme and horror movies. But that was none. The only thing that was extreme about this movie was the extreme awfulness. There were times when i screamed with fear, thats true. But only when i saw the IKEA coffee table. This movie has no irony or sarcasm either. I watched it from the beginning till the end (yeah my bf was sleeping and i found this). And my conclusion is; i had more fun math exams than this movie.

I really love good J-horror movies. It gives a claustrophobic sense, like where ever you go whatever you do you surely can't escape. The world is so big but becomes so small at the same time. I love that they don't depend so much in special effects. But this is not the case.It is not a bad movie. It just leaves you indifferent. There are three actresses who take part in a reality – documentary exorcism. So there are cameras all around the house and you are seeing things as they really happen. I am getting really tired of the reality – "real" story type of movie! In overall as I said the movie isn't bad. It is perhaps one of the best of its kind. You will have fun watching it, it is really entertaining!

Three young actresses are hired to help a documentarian film an exorcism at the house of a young girl and her mother. Cameras are set up everywhere as the supernatural events start to unfold.Numerous exorcists are brought in to help but the problem only seems to get worse as everyone is drawn into a nightmare of demons and curses. This Japanese found footage entry is a refreshing take on the sub-genre as some original elements are introduced that take a different direction from the Paranormal Activity franchise. There is a bit of humour injected into some of the characters which makes the experience a bit more enjoyable. Some of the effects are a bit hokey but others are original and creepy and atmospheric. There are enough twists and turns to keep the viewer's attention as the tension escalates. The three girls get a little annoying at times but do a passable job in their roles and some of the secondary characters really stand out.All in all an interesting and refreshing Cult movie from Japan.

You want to know why i'm giving this movie a 10? Because it was damn entertaining. It started off quickly and just kept building and adding more story. I was expecting a do-it-by-numbers "found footage" type of film with a J-horror flavor. What I got was something I absolutely wasn't expecting. While it isn't the scariest movie I've ever seen, it did have some good chills. People have been complaining about the CG animation used in the film, saying it ruined the film for them. Speaking for myself, I didn't mind it in the least. I just went along for the ride the movie was taking me on, and embraced the whole package. Besides, it's ghosts and demons and the like, and they tend to look weird in pretty much every culture.I'm not giving anything away here. All i'm saying is that this was one hell of an enjoyable movie. They do seem to be setting up a sequel, and I honestly cannot wait to see it.
