It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

The film tells the story of a boy from Puerto Rico who works selling fruit and whose life changes the day he meets a paso fino palomino, a horse descendant from the Spanish horses named this way for the special way of smooth walking he has. More a documentary than a film and although not one of Disney's best, it is still an enjoyable and entertaining movie for all the family containing good values as well as a good story. I do recommend it to all horse and Disney lovers. The film was filmed on location in the Caribbean and the boy role is played by the son of a Puerto Rico famous entertainer. The horse is named Cristobalito for Cristopher Columbus.
