terrible... so disappointed.

... View MoreA clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
... View MoreWhile it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
... View MoreHow far would you go to get big money? That's what this movie is all about. "Consequence" shows what happens when greed gets the best out of anyone. Sam Tyler(Armand Assante) is a surgeon who assumes his brother's(Max) identity. And everyone is up for grabs for the big one. However, someone will be greedier than the other. Kye(Nadia Kretschmer), Sam's wife and Eva(Lola Glaudini) Max's lover are a few up for grabs. I liked the part where Eva is "pleasured" at the bank. And also the shower scene where Kye and Eva were getting it on. Telling Max that Kye was about to screw him over. Both Max and Eva ended up being fair game. Rick Schroeder playing Sam's right hand man John Wolfe was amazing, I liked the chase scene between the VW Bug and the other cars. AMAZING! Max fixed him when he put the bullet in his gun psyching him out good. Then I liked the bathroom scene where Max ponders about Eva's intentions. Though I think her body is more persuading than her words. And the surprise was that his brother was "alive". Guess assuming your kin is more dangerous than Max bargained for, then again Eva was a victim of her own greed. Big money, means big trouble. To me this movie was intriguing, I would say my life is more important than any amount of money, millions or billions! Rating 2.5 out of 5 stars.
... View MoreI saw Consequence on DVD. I 've heard that is was an HBO-film. Thinking of the wonderful TV-series they 've made, I thought this could be a good movie. But no. It's a film drowned in clichés, with bad acting and a predictable plot. Almost everything you see is stolen from others movies, even the Herbie-films. Assante is the master of the B-movie. But even he can't rescue this kind of s**t. The change of identity of the Assante-character in the beginning gives away the plot. All the plot twists later on are forced into the screenplay. Although its very violent it's more a movie for young teenagers. This can't be taken serious, if you are a serious film fan. CIA-agents shooting at a Volkswagen in the middle of a square full of people. Can''t believe they do a thing like that. So forget Consequence. It's a C-movie.
... View MoreThis flick takes a while to get started. A series of relationships must first develop.I suspect the few people who gave this excellent flick a low vote didn't stick with it. It's worth the effort. You must be patient. After people's relationships are established then things really take off. This flick has more twists than a bag of pretzels!!I gave it a 9.Roger Moncrief
... View MoreCool action and an interesting story holding it all together. Rick Schroder and Lola have some great scenes together. I like the role reversals too: Armand playing the good guy for once and Ricky the villain. It's definitely a movie where you have to pay attention in the open. A lot of set up and it moves pretty quickly.
