If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

So IMDB has this scored very low. I think most user most think this was going to be a massive CGI infested Christmas Movie. If you want that then stick to "Black Panther" and "The Avengers". This film is heavy on story and emotions/ Its not perfect but it delivers a family safe film that adults will also enjoy. What this film is about is that newly appointed guardian to his young niece. He is a mail carrier (A.J. Buckley) who falls for a new employee (Ashley Scott), who answers children's letters to Santa Claus. Unknown to him she is Santa's daughter. Ashley Scott is very cute and believable. You root for her from her first scene to the end. When bad things happen to her you "Care". If you are parent trust me watch this with your Santa believing Children. Create a nice memory!

Matt (AJ Buckley) is a postman and takes care of his niece. He has a demanding route for his postal deliveries but things brighten up when he meets bubbly Kristi (Ashley Scott) sent on a special assignment as a 'Santa Writer' whose job is to respond to letters addressed to the North Pole.Kristi is a natural replying to the letters but the local post office boss is far from happy about Kristi and thinks Kristi has been sent by corporate headquarters to spy on him. He forces Matt to spy on her. This is an amiable film, rather light on plot and the acting is a bit hammy. The leads are likable enough and it is hinted that Kristi might be Santa's daughter and really is from the North Pole. The climax is rather flat though but it makes for pleasant undemanding viewing.

Contrary to one reviewer, I did watch this film, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.It was lovely, pleasant, romantic, fun, with a happy ending. Also I used to work for the post office, so I could identify somewhat with the male lead.I have watched a lot of Christmas films on DVD over Christmas eve and Christmas day. Most begin with a light hearted Christmas song, or tune, and then they continue light heartedly, and as the stories pick up, they get a we bit more serious, and ultimately at the end there is a lesson learned, all tied up in a lovely story wrapped up in a nice Christmas happy ending. What more could you want at Christmas.

One of the worst Christmas movies I've seen. Starts off OK and then meanders off into a lame, hackneyed and unwatchable mess. It's a good premise too, Santa's daughter supposedly, gets a job working for a *yawn* scrooge like boss who hates Christmas, (Lochlyn Munroe what are you doing in this drivel?) but meets a put upon postman who, yep, falls for her. The 'girlfriend' who tries making the new girl welcome ends up being a drain on the nerves and her attempts at being feisty and 'with it' miss the mark completely, it's a very bad parody of Christmas and that's putting it mildly, yet it's meant to be a 'romantic comedy' - shame they couldn't get actors who played the roles better. I was really disappointed and it's an hour and half of my life that I won't get back again. The write up made it sound like one of the newer Christmas movies that would be good, but the fact that it was made in 2010, didn't even get to DVD but came right on into TV says a few words about how bad this is. This is also available via Amazon's video-on-demand service but really, don't waste your money or your time on it. There are better Christmas movies out there.Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas movies and I do like to watch them but I have to admit to giving up on this one, it is truly dire.
