It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Nice guy Rich (a solid and likable performance by Corey Haim) falls under the irresistible spell of the cunning and seductive Megan (ably played by the delectable Nicole Eggert), a 17-year-old femme fatale who wants Rich to help her bump off her wealthy overprotective father Cy (a sturdy portrayal by Jean LeClerc). Director Brenton Spencer, working from a compact script by Robert C. Cooper, relates the involving story at a steady pace, makes neat occasional use of stylized slow motion, and delivers several sizzling soft-core sex scenes that give this picture an extra hot edge. The competent acting holds the movie together: Haim and Eggert display a strong and believable chemistry (they were an item in real life), with sound support from Corey Feldman as Rich's bitter older brother Wes, Kathleen Robertson as the smitten Darla, and Gary Farmer as pesky homicide detective Anderson. Perci Young's crisp cinematography gives the movie an attractive bright look. Paul Zaza's moody score likewise does the trick. However, it's the sweet'n'petite Eggert's copious nudity in which she bares her tight'n'tasty little body that really makes this film well worth a watch. Perfect late-night cable TV fare.

Blown Away is probably the best thriller that was made.I love thriller like this.First the movie was great, great plot, great cast and great acting.Only three thrillers were the best that i like,Blown Away,Trade Off,were plays Adam Baldwin and False Pretense all three are the best thrillers that was made. They not doing thrillers anymore like this. The best thing about this thriller is that the good guy on the end wins that's the best.I watch more thrillers and nobody of this movies compares with this one,too bad is only that that Nicole Kidman was not here she were be better in this movie. Also Nicole Eggeret is one of the best actress and she is really good in this movie, she also made another great thriller Secret Walls is one of the best thriller, too bad they not released on DVD.I'm a huge fan of Nicole Eggert since she started in Baywatch i always watch her movies and also hat a huge crush on her since she was regularly cast on Baywatch. But i'don't understand one thing, how come some people criticize this movie and say it is the worst ,but it's not,i'sad before they not doing movies like this anymore.I use to watch thriller's Wild Things all three and i can say they are the worst movies that was ever made, how can some people claims that there are the best in the genre, but there not,how can they made sequels like that, they were the worst movies of the genre.Blown Away is one of the best thrillers.Great cast and playing of Corey Haim were he plays a hero and Nicole Eggert and Corey Feldman they were great in this movie,i' just not understand on thing, why Corey Feldman almost plays a bad guy,why he not get some leading role were he wold play a good guy, that would be great. When you are big fan of a thrillers stay with this one,you will not be disappointing.

Corey Haim stars as Rich a horny guy who falls for a sexy blonde (Nicole Eggert) who wants to kill her father out of vengeance for the car-bomb murder of her mother, however Haim must make choice to follow his lust or do the right thing. I'm somewhat shocked at exactly this is almost at a 5 out of 10, when this movie is just so damn awful. However it is funny though. Imagine a soap opera with Melrose Place styled antics (Complete with the meat headed guys and slutty girls) made with the two Coreys. Nicole Eggert is indeed a hot little number, sure and her sex scenes to provide some mild interest but let's face it, once you're a certain age a movie must hold more interest to you than just seeing naked women going down on Corey Haim. So with that in mind the story is just so laughably lame, however it is bad enough that it makes you want to puke but stupid enough to make you howl with laughter. It is so bad it could only star the two Coreys. I mean if not for the Demolition High series, this could very well be the funniest movie Corey Haim ever made.* out of 4-(Bad) (Take off a 1/2 star if you can't laugh at a bad movie)

Not much time to review, but I have to say, this is one of Coreysx2 best! I was not disappointed with this one. Brenton Spencer is a very capable director...it seems he brought out the best in his cast. Feldman was the epitome of help at the lodge. I believed he was a fix it up guy the moment he set foot on screen! Haim just shows how talented he is with this one...has never been better. I dont want to bore you with details of the movie...watch for the terrific acting. Look for Vladimir Bondarencio as Officer 1.
