It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The title of my review is actually a lie. I gave this a 2 because I much enjoyed criticizing and laughing at this "film" with my fiancé. I will admit that I started watching this after 15 minutes of the film had already passed, but NOTHING in that 15 minutes can justify or make up for the cluster-f$&k of massive awfulness. I'm not sure how, but it took me a good half hour to realize that one of the characters was indeed long forgotten Kel Mitchell from All That and Good Burger. When I did realize it I was gasping for air with all the laughing. The special effects actually DO leave you speechless, because they make no sense. The best scene is when the final trio of characters are sprinting to the alien ship, and while inside another alien aircraft tries to blast the ship, and you get to see the exact same pieces of debris flying a good 10 times or so. Oooo and the final scene where the ship is crashing....priceless. You get to see the samurai chick gain an eye-patch in between scenes for no reason. Eh, that's enough for this review....it deserves a 1/10 but I was entertained so I was generous with a two. If you enjoy laughing at complete stupidity then check this movie out.

Battle of Los Angeles, were do i begin. Well i will start with what i felt after i watched it. I didn't speak to anybody for 5 hours i just sat in my room wondering is it possible for a film to be made this bad? I can not believe how terrible a film can be! did the 'makers' of this film do this as a competition on how bad can we make something? The 'plot' on this website says years ago a flying object was seen is Los Angeles now 70 years later it has returned. Yep that is it there is absolutely no plot at all, its just fascinatingly bad i thought that getting shot or stabbed or getting pulled limb from limb would be the worst thing ever but this beats all of them! I have seen some plot less garbage in my time but this does not only have a terrible plot but:terrible acting, terrible 'special' effects terrible physics (meaning a women can jump of a building and stab a metal spaceship and blow it up) AND they use toy guns for guns!!! Nerf dart guns to be precise. The makers may argue 'we cant have the best special effects for a low budget film' well here is a solution don't make a 'sci-fy thriller' if you have a low budget. This film beats every other bad film by a marathon it is not the worst film ever it is the worst piece of media ever, to be rivaled by none. normally with bad films i turn them off after 30 minutes but i had to watch this to the end because of just how bad it was. This film is kind of like the holocaust it is saying this is bad and it must never happen again.SHOCKING WOULD RATHER DRINK CYANIDE THEN WATCH IT AGAIN

The weakest thing in the movie is the execution and the special effects. I mean when you present for such a long periods of time some women-pilots (looking more of a model rather than a military crew) flying F-16s like they were C-130s, and when people shoot with M16s and the sound and visual effects look like a paint-ball gun, then there's surely something very wrong in the production. The plot tries to deliver some sci-fi excitement, but it's so weak and silly and can't really save the day. Acting is not bad on some cases, but again, there's total lack of logic on the emotions, it's like Mortal Kombat II, in one scene you fight to death, next scene you walk on the road like nothing happened. Terrible terrible movie.

When this mess started I kept thinking "it'll get going in a minute ." Then half an hour later you think- well,I guess not.The story line seems to be non existent. When the pilot from 1942 appears you are given false hope that this will finally put a few revs in the film, but no.It's a cheap film that looks like it's been made on a back lot of a back lot.Worst film line before we meet the "The Alien " has to be "Anyone got any reeces pieces ? He loves those." Dire dialogue.Terrible script. How on earth did this ever make it to the screen ? worth for the unintentional laughs only ! like the "hard " woman who suddenly appears with one patch over her eye !! where did that come from !! ha ha ha.cheap budget sci-fi at it's worst .
