It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

All war movies made are at the outset as great and important idea, a possibly historic important story to be told. Sadly that was lost on these people, nothing here worked and full of terribly plastic digital things really threw me from the film. However one point worth noting was the lead bad guy played by Tino Struckmann made it worth it. He is a great actor and really worked hard to pull this entire mess together, a strong performance that certainly is deserving of a bigger budget, better cast and film in general. I do hope the powers that be in Hollywood and in the studios opens their eyes and gives him a chance he deserves a break - I will say at this point he have paid his dues with this film.

I agree with all the other posts but I also would like to say the German uniforms were mismatched bad. The officer wore a 3rd Ss isignia but the arm band didn't say totenkomp is appeared to be Adolf Hitler! What the hell was the fake truck that couldn't out run a tank that had what looked like the front of a dodge weapons carrier w a fake axle and a humvie bed! And firing an unloaded German m-g 42 out the bank! And the airplanes come on! Or the officer shoots the lady in the back from 5 feet but then it shows them 300 feet apart!! Should I go one.... Plz quit making films u suck! How old is the private getting tortured 35? Why are they they so unable to take a direct order rather than debate it? Why do they all clump up in a mob rather than spread out so they don't all die at once? Why do they burry the kid way out in the open fearing being shot? The Ss were the most furocious fighting force way better than ours just not enough of them and you make them look like the draft is idiots! You suck

If I could rate this film with a -negative, it would do it more justice. This is an Asylum Films "Mockbuster" Asylum Films, known for their CGI, ridiculous plot lines, huge stable of "B" actors, is best watched if you have a knowledge of what to expect from Asylum, if you don't... You will feel riped off. The problem with this film is Asylum, is out of their element. Asylum should not attempt to do a "so called serious" film. Asylum, please stick to your successful formula. Si-Fi, Monsters, Giant killer Animals, Aliens, SHARKS, and; Major production "B" movies. Unknowing film watchers will not feel riped off, and might enjoy a great!.... terrible movie, if they know it's coming. Long live Asylum. Kings of toung-in-cheek You got a love-um

Everyone has pretty much nailed this idiocy of this movie that just happens to come along at the same time Fury is released, which was at least a plausible story that remained as true as possible to tank warfare in WWII Europe. But the only thing I will say about Ardennes Fury that I'm not sure has been said, is, they did not measure distance in klics during WWII. That didn't come until Vietnam. Nor did they say good to go. That came last week. And finally, I don't think tankers would be sitting on top of their tanks behind enemy lines in broad daylight playing cards, while they wait for their comrads to return from a deadly mission. Other than that it was a great movie. Oh, one more thing . . . I don't think a Catholic nun and that th ditsey mother would have been wearing scultured finger nails. The story could have been something seen in an episode of Combat with Claudine Longet playing the babe, as that week's gust star.
