A waste of 90 minutes of my life

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

There is really no reason why this film should've been released. It's your stereotypical frat/college film where everyone goes insane on the college campus with completely forgettable characters that only spout out sex innuendos and occasionally exposition.Typical gross out frat film with occasional topless girls. Oh, and Eugene Levy shows up for no reason other than callback references.

Erik Stifler (John White) is starting college after breaking up with his high school girlfriend. His cousin Dwight Stifler (Steve Talley) is the head of Beta House party fraternity. He has to battle the onslaught of Geek Houses where only the smartest and richest guys are allowed in. More and more of the beautiful girls are gravitating towards the geeks. The regime at the university is turning upside down as Beta House is challenged to the banded Greek Olympia for the house charter against GEK house. Ashley (Meghan Heffern) is the sweet girl who likes Erik.Even for the B-side of the American Pie franchise, this isn't much fun. Everybody is weak acting wise. This is lots of hot chicks with very blend comedy. It's just an excuse for a T&A show. I really miss the midget frat from the 'The Naked Mile' which was the funniest part of that movie. There is too little of them and way too late. There isn't much to see other the countless nameless hot chicks. The sheep grind is probably the only funny thing in the whole movie.

Well, if you haven't seen it yet and you almost liked ''The naked mile'' then you should watch this one.The thing is, that the first 3 pie's had a story and was original, a numbnut growing up and becoming a man, then came The naked mile that really sucked hard.Some were still inspired by the first 3 and they made Beta House, some Jimbo situations returned to screen and voilà, the result was definitely not the most outrageous slice of pie, but it's in overall quite funny and did it in some ways.Beta house scores in vulgarity, the choices on chicks/females (like Sarah Power and others) and the reasonable funny/awkward situations, there are no real jokes and you still miss the real stiffmeister.conclusion: it could be better but it doesn't suck..

Just finished watching American Pie: Beta House and I have to say.....the last three pies were on a steep decline into the 'sad excuse for a movie' category. However, there were some moments (i'll give it that). The story lines seem to be grabbing at anything to be funny. It's a movie that has no point really. There's the usual nudity, sex, alcohol and lovely ladies dancing on bars to enjoy. Plus fraternising with animals (if pies wasn't enough!). But, if you really liked the first to original pies and want to continue the loyalty, then give this one a try (you'll probably only watch it the once anyway)...and never want to go near horses or sheep again! 5/10 for being a pie :)
