Captivating movie !

A waste of 90 minutes of my life

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Airline Disaster is simply not a movie due to the lack of any of the basic elements needed to make a movie. The previous reviews indicated how awful the actors on both the good and evil side. However, the crisis team is very annoying to the extent that I was not sympathizing with any of them neither the hijacking group who are bloody but not in an entertaining way. The movie is full of goofs from the first second till the end. The graphics work is horrible, not helpful and irritating to the audience. The FBI team is really weird and does not look like it belongs to any security service on earth. I advise you not to watch it unless it is for the sake of laughing....

Well what could you expect of a movie that has a title like that? Exactly. So if you are going in with hopes to watch another Armageddon or even Passenger 57 (a rather good movie, especially compared to this one), than don't even rent/watch it. You will be thoroughly disappointed. But if you watch this with some friends, you might find yourself having fun at how ridiculous the movie is.I don't wanna judge the actors or anyone else involved in the movie. Getting a movie made at all is hard task. Though some would argue it's easier to do nowadays (in the 21st century) than it was a while ago. Still I cannot recommend this, unless you really prepare for it ... (and even then ...)

This is a truly astonishing movie. It is the contemporary equivalent of an Ed Wood film. I have to echo every IMDb reviewer who asked how it was possible that this monumentally dreadful movie was released. The producers and director simply do not know how to put together a competently executed scene. The low budget explains only part of what was abominable about this film: the cheesy, skimpy sets and the cheap props. But there are embarrassments in this movie that can only be laid at the doorstep of ineptitude. When the airplane is met with turbulence, the plane of course rocks - we've seen this in many films. But here it looks exactly like a bunch of seated extras leaning to the right, then to the left, then to the right.... There is no credibility to anything about Airline Disaster. Meredith Baxter is conspicuous as the only competent actor in the film. Very few actors, including well known performers, can afford to turn down a role - you more often than not take the roles you are offered and do your best with them. Baxter must have been mortified performing in this movie. Full disclosure: I watched only about 25 minutes of this junk. It should be possible to give a zero rating to a movie. I feel terrible guilt having gifted Airline Disaster with a 1. It's not even THAT good. Incredible...

To be honest, I kept checking the date to confirm its 2010 and not 1980. I mean, a producer actually produced this in this time and age?! Ten minutes into the movie, i was ready to eject the movie coz i did not want to lose one and a half hours of my life on such crap, but i got curious on finding out how worse the movie could get. Some parts were so bad, I was actually laughing out loud!(Pun intended). Seriously, a trained air marshal that cant shoot straight at 4 feet? A laser with one foot precision misses by 70 feet? Aborting to crash land a plane but opting to shoot it down? A wing that hits many obstacles without damage, but an exploding door pops off an engine?!? I could name a thousand but let me stop here.Im fully convinced that this was actually a mockery to airline disaster movies. I must commend these guys for being right on target.Avoid this like plague. Unless you got the same inspiration that i had.
