The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

This is one of those rare movies where I enjoyed every second - literally! The film very cleverly tells different characters' stories wrapped into one very emotional journey. (I actually enjoyed Miranda's story the most). Jacob Tremblay is excellent as deformed boy Auggie. He is just so good in everything he does! The rest of the cast was equally good and believable. This is an awesome heartwarming story and one of the best films I've seen in a while.

If you: A) have a kid B) read this book with your kid ...you will probably cry within 10 minutes of watching this film. But you don't have to check both those boxes to be moved by this movie. You just have to be human. There are flaws. There are oversights. There are emotional manipulations. But there is also heart. It isn't easy to adapt a beloved bestseller, but this movie managed to find its way. It captured the perspectives, journeys, and little moments that make life meaningful. Just like you can choose kind, you can choose to let this story worm its way into your heart. Make that choice.

First with the good. The storyline is excellent the younger characters are excellent I can't say that it was Julia Roberts best work and Owen Wilson was horrible. And I am a fan. Distractingly disappointing. This movie made me think. And I think that's really what the director wanted to accomplish so well done. Very well done. At times it's a little slow but it's well worth the wait. Excellent interputation
