... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

... View MoreReally both the Roadrunner and the Coyote never get old. As they are the best and still are after over sixty years and counting! Two boys, one of them named Ralph and his unnamed friend are watching the cartoon we are seeing on the TV screen. And Ralph thinks that the Coyote needs to eat the Roadrunner but his friend a cynical psych student of sorts, thinks if that happens that would end the show.As Ralph can be naive, his friend is a lot more level headed. But boys will be boys. As they ask why the Coyote wants to eat the Roadrunner so badly. And in a comedic way, the Coyote in a sense breaks the fourth wall and describes to the boys from the TV and us viewers as well, why he wants the Roadrunner really badly! The two boys are like us viewers thinking and wanting to know why the Coyote will go through extreme and desperate measures to get the Roadrunner with comedic and all of the time, disastrous results.Cute as you must love the cartoon as kids and as adults!
... View MoreWhile at a length longer than the usual Looney Tune cartoon(25-6 minutes in alternative to 5-7 minutes) and done in an almost documentary style, that doesn't stop Adventures of the Road-Runner from being one of Roadrunner and Coyote's best, in fact a contender for THE best. And that is coming from a series that is always interesting but not always consistent in quality, with some gems, a lot of solid cartoons and a few misfires. There is a lot of re-used footage here, but the footage ranges from highly amusing to hilarious and the whole format of the cartoon is fascinating. The animation is crisp and clean, with the backgrounds less sparse than they could be. Roadrunner and Coyote are also very well drawn. The music is full of crackling energy and characterful orchestration, while the documentary-like narration is written in a witty fashion. Both Roadrunner and especially Coyote are on top form, Coyote is an inspired choice for the role he has in Adventures of the Roadrunner, and the two boys are appealing and never irritating. Mel Blanc's voice work is superb, no complaints there. All in all, one of this duo's best, proof that cartoons that utilise re-used footage can work wonders. 10/10 Bethany Cox
... View MoreThis failed animated pilot for what would have been an ongoing television show, features Wile E. Coyote narrating his own exploits as he tries to catch the ever elusive Road Runner (yes Wile talks in this one), all this is watched by two kids who are watching the new Road-Runner show. It features the bat-man suit footage from "Gee Whiz-z-z-z-z-z-z", as well as the whole "From A to Z-Z-Z-Z" short, as one of the kids watching the cartoon just so happened to be Ralph Phillips. I found this 26 minute feature to be fascinating despite the reused footage. Who knew Road Runner was so VERY delicious. No wonder Wile E. craves him so. Because this failed as a pilot, it would later be edited into 2 separate later shorts. The whole thing can be found as an extra on Disc 2 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2 and in my opinion is very much worth a watch or two....or eight. My Grade: A+
... View MoreWhen this show was on I watched it every time I could! I thought that the characters were really funny and all had great personalities. The animation in My opinion was crisp, clean, and really clear. Not to mention beautiful! Most of the characters in this show are hilarious like the Looney Tunes characters that we all love. in My opinion these characters are the funniest and talented ever seen. In fact, The things that goes on in this series' cartoons are in My opinion nuts which that is what makes them hilarious! There are so many to like and laugh at and the silly things they do! If you like the original Looney Tunes then I strongly recommend that you watch this show!
