Horrible, fascist and poorly acted

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

It's a sad and also predictable movie, but although convincing tale too, this story of a runaway murderer of his wife and her lover, a murderer - Sami Bouadjila - who is helped in his run by a desperate wife and mother who also tries to escape from her drowning couple. Terrific performances from Bouadjila and Marina Foïs, no doubt about that. But something is missing here, I would say it's too flat, not boring, but I can't exactly tell what is not going on. I was not deceived, because it's really a desperate film, and I like that, but we feel here the lack of practice from the director. We can easily forgive him as far as that's his first try. He probably could have done worst.
