Lack of good storyline.

... View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

... View MoreI approached this film (as they say) with some reluctance, perhaps especially by some negative comments I had read about it in the Spanish media. I must say, and this is of course a very personal opinion, that the film deserves a higher score than has been given, clearly not a masterpiece, but the actors are quite good, especially Juan Diego, and the script (which seems to owe much to the book of Javier Cercas, which I have read recently, and this is one reason which I was very happy to watch a new version of this historical event) is quite correct. In short, I recommend it for those who lived coup (and already have 40 springs) and luckily for were born after they shall learn things. There is a miniserie about the king of Spain (Luis Homar is the main actor) in which the 23-F occupies a lot of space, but it's not as interesting as this one.
