One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Initially I had never heard about this movie prior to happen to come across it by random luck. I read the synopsis of the movie, and must admit that it did sound like the movie could be interesting. So, naturally, I gave it a chance and sat down to watch it.And while the movie is fast paced and maintained a good and constant pace, then the story just never really came off as being outstanding or particularly memorable.The effects in the movie were adequate, although they were sparse and the movie could have fared better with a bigger budget and more extensive repertoire for the special effects and CGI effects. Especially since it is a horror movie, then special effects is a make-or-break deal.As for the acting in "11-11-11", well it was alright and people were doing good enough jobs with their given roles and characters, but it was clear that they were held back by a simple script and a storyline that was too generic and linear.I wasn't particularly keen on the ending of the movie, and the events that lead up to it seemed a bit forced and rushed, which had a bad result on the movie."11-11-11" was hardly an overly memorable experience, but still it provided fair enough entertainment for a single viewing. And that is the case, this is a movie that you watch once, then never coming back to it again.

Why is it that everyone that sees a title has to evaluate a movie simply by THAT title??? 12-12-12 came out and we got what we expected. This movie needs to be seen for its own right. Apocalyptic???...to a point...yes. Accurate???...show me an apocalyptic movie that was accurate and I will eat my hat (and I have a great number of them). This film was Spooky. It caused me to wonder about some eerie things in both heaven and earth. I was drawn into the direction I can only assume the director/writer wanted me to go. Could it have been better....sure. Any film can be better. But once again I read reviewers who have watched too many movies and have their pre-conceived notions guiding them with every NEW movie they watch. C'mon folks...reviewers are a dime a dozen. I had some seriously eerie fun watching this one. Some of you won't. The cinematography is great as well....grab the popcorn and enjoy.....Q(:-}

First of all, anyone who has ever lost a child needs to stay the hell away from this movie. For real. It's harsh.This movie premise had potential. But it promptly derailed into WTF country. First, the soundtrack. The overly intense, Latin chanting filled, LOUD, and ever so dramatic music just ruined any creepy factors. The music was DAH-DAAAAAAHing nonstop. Also, how was it that Joe couldn't speak Spanish? How do you manage to grow up in Spain and not learn even basic tourist Spanish? And then poor Joe just kept seeing Emperor Palpatine everywhere. The twist was super predictable. At the church service, when his brother got all creepy and looked at him (amidst lurking Sith Lords), I was shrugged and went "Oh, he's the anti-Christ", but the OMG TWIST really was botched.Sadie was about the most pointless character.
