The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Unbiased documentory.. biggest cult in this world is Christianity..They are fine with converting and invading all countries but scared to death when a small commune came in and built their city from scratch ..converted barren land to farm land ..I hope they have a broader and open mind and come out of their cucoon and let others live peacefully..

As a teenager and into my early twenties I was heavily influenced by Osho's books. Think for yourself, be true to yourself, don't fit it just because you have to fit in, learn to celebrate life, accept the New as gift, etc.It was an exceptional experience to watch this documentary.I loved that the filmmakers used old footage, facts, articles, that they interviewed people who were directly involved in the story. They showed both sides of the story, thus letting you decide for yourself. It's a brilliant picture..for me it portrays in a great way the dichotomy of "the moral" or "the teachings of the Master" on one hand and the real life on the other.Morals, beliefs, loyalty, friendship etc are all very beautiful poetic words, but usually they go at a cost that few people are willing to pay in real life.the greatest value of this film is how this dichotomy is portrayed with "facts and figures". It's up to you to decide how you will take the film. I love it.

It's hard to believe the things that happened actually happened seems more like the work of Hollywood. Which of course makes for an excellent topic for a documentary so right off the bat this series is already got a win.The way they chose to show what was going on by mixing in actual news footage from the 80's was great. There was no real narrator it was all people talking or responding to questions that lay out what is/was happening. Even though this is 6 parts, it's so interesting and well told at a good pace it goes by fast.I found myself flipping all over the place trying to get a feel for who was really the bad guys here. By the end of it even though it didn't matter who was who or who did what I was crying. Any movie/show/documentary that can illicit emotions from my cold dead heart gets a good rating.

It is fascinating! The idea that something that started from such a spiritual and loving place became so corrupt and violent!!!
