Just so...so bad
... View MoreThe movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
... View MoreYes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
... View MoreThere are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
... View MoreA fantastic series following Mike Brewers worldwide wheeler dealing. There is a charming, can I say less than professional polish to Mikes presentation, its as if the viewer is watching an old friend out there, its an intimate experience. While the cars are the stars it's Mikes interactions with all of the interesting people which really makes the show, a fascinating insight. It goes to show that people are much the same wherever you go in the world. Thanks Mike for your efforts, enthusiasm and hard work in producing great entertainment. By the way I've got a cracking British sports car for you to buy !
... View MoreI love the original Wheeler Dealers. Partly because of Mike and his negotiating skills on buying an old classics but more because of Edd China. I have watched and understood American car shows for decades but seeing a different perspective is refreshing and most entertaining. Edd is absent on the Trading Up series. All we get is Mike traveling the globe, buying and selling cars. And in US Dollars! What the hell? Bring back the old format, please. It makes for a much more entertaining program. I will watch the new show but continually compare it to the original. I love seeing cars that are unavailable in the US and hearing about the nightmares in repairing them.
