To me, this movie is perfection.

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The aliens have come, and they say they want to be our friends. Anna (Morena Baccarin) is the face of the aliens. Lisa (Laura Vandervoort) is her daughter. Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) is a journalist who worms his way into a prime spot with the aliens. FBI agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) stumbles on some nefarious alien activity. Tyler Evans (Logan Huffman) is obsessed with the aliens ignoring his mother's warnings. Father Jack Landry (Joel Gretsch) is concerned about the aliens even thought the church hierarchy has accepted them wholeheartedly.Tyler is super annoying. Alien Anna is super creepy. And alien Lisa is super hot. As for the story, it is unrealistic to accept that the humans could fight back. Like the original, it is hard to write this believably. The production value is as good as they could make it for a TV show. But it is just too hard to achieve that grand scale. By the end of its 2 seasons run, there were too many unreasonable plot lines.

I refrained from giving 10 out of 10 as there's one thing about this entire series that bothers me - it goes on way too long.Compared to the original series yes there's a lot more going on in great detail. Aliens come to earth, they deceive and manipulate human emotions as part of their plan for an invasion, things don't just go right overnight. It's good that there's this real sense of threat, emotional manipulation, war, and a real possibility that the humans will not succeed, but I think that it just takes it so far that it's stretching out the whole series and leaves you wondering how much longer is the charade gonna go on for.I would like to see the entire series continue and see how the big finale is going to look like, but I think 4 series is too long.

This show had potential, but they hired pretty lousy or unfit actors for the job :all the aliens characters were terrible, and the princess alien over-used make up all the time. And picking the ex-star of 4400 for this was a bad idea.. no one could picture him as a priest. The scenario destroyed the rest of the hope that people could have hope for this show. It made me hate all of the characters (except for the rogue human at a certain point). The stupidity of humans characters were amazing, no communication between the mother and son. The retarded son falls in love at first sight of the alien. The "world resistance" almost totally invisible (making beleiving in the story so hard).Im glad they cancelled it really. It's a shame that people call this Now-a-days science-fiction.Have a good day guys, and don't waste your time watching this, really.
