A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This oddity is more for South Park and Trey Parker and Matt Stone fans mainly, as I can't see any other ways of stumbling upon it these days. But for that I can say immediately that its definitely worth it! This is the work of a younger Trey Parker that got the chance to do a pilot for a TV-series, but it failed to bring success. Too bad, as the concept was good and could have turned into something great if it got a chance. As for the plot: Basically every episode would start with meeting a history-narrator telling us about a historical period back in time, and how it was "really" like, and then we would get to see it played out. With Parker and Stone in main parts. Its similarity to Monty Python is very notable, as in humor, storytelling and style. Silly and intelligently witty. As it is in Cannibal The Musical too. Obviously inspired. There's only two episodes of Time Warped. The first one is about Moses brother Aaron, who is at a loss why God chose his stupid brother as a messenger and not him. Classicaly funny and taboo-provoking by Parker. But the episode is not without faults. Most of the jokes is well intended, but its often a bit clumsy and the timing of the jokes is sometimes off mark. Still the episode is overall funny and should be very interesting for people who wants to see how Parkers style and humor has developed into the genius innovative humor of South Park . The next Time Warped episode was supposed to be about the pilgrims, and we see previews from it at the end of the first episode, but it never was completed! Because what happened was that the producers felt Time Warped instead could become a great CHILDREN educational show and sent it over to Fox Kids. Which was a bad sign really.. because Parker and Stones humors strength really lays in its sharpness. A children show would really restrict anything they do... and that was surely what happened. The next episode was about evolution, and as much as I think the idea of a love story between different pre-human species and as it is an original idea, the episode lacks some of the adult humor that trademark what we love about Parker and Stone. As a children show its fine, but Fox Kids didn't pick it up. And understandably so. The episode is actually fine though in my opinion, but somewhat annoying and lacks the edge. All in all. Some funny stuff, good concept, but somewhat too flawed too make it. Worthwhile for fans of Parker and Stone.

Time Warped is a project made by future South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.I saw both episodes on youtube. They tried to pitch the show to FOX and other networks, but it didn't pick up.If I was the network executive, I wouldn't have picked up the show either. There are two episodes. The first episode has some funny moments and is decent, but the second episode is just bad and unfunny. The first episode shows the relationship between Moses and his smarter brother. The episode is basically a spoof of the ten commandments. There are some funny parts and the episode is mediocre. The second episode is sort of like Romeo and Juliet only with primitive apes.I didn't laugh once and it was very unfunny and bad.I can understand why this wasn't picked up!

This shows everything that Trey Parker does best, his excellent acting skills and ability to write and perform funny and memorable songs, this is an absolute must for Trey Parker fans. Whoever decided not to take up on this is a complete fool!.It cameo's all of the other characters from Cannibal!, Matt Stone, Dian Bachar, Ian Hardin and Jason McHugh among others.Sadly it is very hard to obtain, being an obscure pilot from before Trey had made it, I downloaded mine from the crap TV.com forums, a few members there have it.10/10

Unfortunately this little gem is hard to get your hands on. i was lucky enough to obtain a copy and both episodes of this show are hysterical. the first episode called Aaron is the story of Aaron and his brother moses. it has a lot of reoccurring characters from previous Matt and Trey projects including Toddy Walters, Jason Mchugh, Dian Bachar and Ian Hardin. the second episode the cast dresses as monkeys and teaches children about homoerectus and australopithecus. this is also very funny to watch. Matt stone is the main monkey and is almost unrecognizable except for his "afro". both shows include music and songs written by trey parker that have a very "cannibal the musical" feel and we are treated to a bit more of Toddy Walters' voice that we first heard in cannibal. it is a wonder why this show was not picked up. Trey and Matt may have tried harder if south park had not been picked up soon after this show was rejected by fox. i highly recommend this show if you can get a copy of it.
