Very disappointed :(

Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

Why wasn't she taken to the hospital first? Why was the chick cop so unprofessionally callous? I didn't like this show at all

I actually looked this up to see how old it is because I too was shocked at the insensitivity of the police towards a person who has endured obvious horrors. I thought maybe it was from many years ago before law enforcement understood anything about kidnap victims. It was made clear in the first episodes that she had experienced multiple physical attacks in addition to captivity, demonstrating that she had survived many forms of torture. Even if they did need information, in real life, dealing a person who had survived her ordeal, they would not terrorize her in the process of the interrogation - locking her in rooms and threatening her with incarceration - dahhhh!! I thought it was good generally up until now and I'll keep watching, but this twist in the story line is annoying.

Generally speaking, there is a great first episode that hooks the viewer with an intriguing scenario; unfortunately, the story becomes progressively more unrealistic with just about all of the characters becoming incredible, particularly the lead detectives and their totally useless boss who never has anything helpful to say to his out-of- control subordinates. I feel sorry for these actors and I blame the writer for the tedious development of the story as it winds its way as a boring and far-too-long-drawn-out production. It could have been great but it earns just a 3 out of 10 because of it's excellent start, in spite of it's boring and slow continuance.

I want to see the rest . these first 2 disc only left you hanging for more . I called my public library but they do not have any other ones. Please finish making these disc. This movie was wonderful . Kept you on the edge of your seat than wham it was over not telling you if the 10 year old 2 kidnapped girl is saved . I WANT MORE PLEASE ! :( My husband and I love god thrilling movies like this . We want to see if the 10 year old girl is saved by the 26 year old woman that was kidnapped by the same man for 13 years . If the 26 year old named Ivy goes to meet the man again to save the other 10 year old life we to know what happens. It is a mini series but I was told I might have to wait 1-2 years before I get to see the final part of it .That is a long time to wait to see the end of a movie !
