There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

" The Trojan Horse" is a political thriller that surprises and disappoints on many levels. It has an original premise, Canada is joining the USA.And then the more and more blurred line between good and bad guys, and of course, the oil, cause of just about every war in last 25 years. The problem with this movie are the obvious, crude references to daily politics, and the people that we all remember with shudder. That just wasn't necessary, we would get the not so subtle message anyway. The world of power is a world of ruthless, disturbed people and they can't be trusted. I knew that for a very long time, but nevertheless I found this flick entertaining, but forgettable.

Wow! Talk about gripping and intellectually surprising! This film is superb! I had previously been unable to find a copy of the miniseries that preceded it (H20), but I went on another quest after watching only part of "The Trojan Horse". I will now have the complete set to relish. What a treat this is! I'm not all that fond of action / political thrillers, but I think this one will (or should) become a classic. I am constantly drawn further in and can never see what comes up next. Very well written, directed; acted. Do not miss this film - you won't regret the 3 hours one little bit. You will want more! I agree with poster on the discussion board. If Tom McLaughlin is the bad guy, I say - let's elect him not once but twice and hang on for the ride! I don't see his character as a liar and a cheat but rather as a perhaps flawed hero with noble ideas that I would love to see pushed forward.I loved the speech he made to the reporter - "Citadel on a hill? (We should all consider ourselves) citizens of the world!" meaning let's get serious about holding up our end of the bargain as a member of the global community. I want to see a sequel where he carries out his program! I think what he calls for is doable and would make a huge advance in uplifting civilization for all earth's inhabitants. And don't miss the predecessor, H2O!

Continuation of the mini-series,H20. Canada has joined the U.S. Canada has been divided up into six states. As for the former prime minister,Tom McLaughlin, things did not go the way he planned. He is out of a job. So,along with his cohorts and a few European leaders,he plans to run for president and bring down to U.S.A. He eventually meets his former wife,Mary, who is the head of the republican party and a Texas billionaire, they remarry, his plan is to use her. A newspaper reporter in the U.K. discovers his plan. Several assassinations take place, a lot of political intrigue. What makes this mini-series so interesting is could such a thing happen? Well lets examine a little history. Europe. All the European countries have joined and become the E.E.C. Why not Canada, the U.S. and Mexico joining together to form a North American union. If this happens,it would be many years in the making. Another point of interest, the woman who plays the information officer for the White house,in some ways she reminds me of Condoliza Rice. At this time, only fiction, but very well done. Mary, who plays Mary Miller,Texas billionaire is in real life the wife of Paul Gross.

TV and movies are the land of make-believe. In the world of television aliens can invade and Ashley Simpson can sing. Only slightly more ridiculous is the idea that Canada joins the U.S. The Trojan Horse is a two part miniseries that hinges on the addition of Canada to the U.S. Don't get me wrong there is much more than that but I won't go into any detail about what happens but let's just say it is improbable at best. The production value is fair considering I saw this on CBC. But overall it is laughable. If you just turn your brain off and enjoy a story then this is a fair miniseries at best. The premise is ridiculous but hey it's just a TV show.
