It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Drew Carey has completely destroyed the greatest game show ever.I tried to not let it bother me when he had over six months to prepare for his first episode and then came in not knowing a single thing about the show.I try to ignore the male models and terrible live bands that have no place on this show, but I can't ignore Drew Carey's sycophantic driveling.Whenever a person loses a game he says things like "well at least you won a toaster and get to spin the wheel" or something equally stupid and unnecessary.Plus he constantly points out that the models are beautiful and have names. And after nine years as the host he still has no idea where the wheel is going to stop.Maybe he's pretending to make the show more exciting?I find it hard to believe that a person can be that stupid. The worst part about Carey as the host is that he has put a stop to people booing anyone who can't get the wheel all the way around. It was one of the best things about the show but since it didn't involve kissing butt he had to get rid of it.Carey has made this show extremely uncomfortable and very hard to watch.

Is anyone else old enough to remember Bill Cullen hosting The Price Is Right in the late 50s and/or the early 60s? I think it was a weekly, maybe prime time, show. I don't recall how similar or different the main format of that show was to the current version. But, at one point, during its run there was a weekly showcase that home viewers could bid on. I recall my dad researching a showcase, and coming up with the correct MSRP, to the penny, of the showcase, which included a new car. Home viewers sending in their bid on a postcard and getting the exact price, or those who came closest to the MSRP without going over would win that showcase. In the event of any ties, the winner was selected by a drawing of those who tied. I think they had that drawing on the air, or a winner was simply announced if there were no ties. I think ties on the home viewer showcase were the norm, and drawings occurred virtually every week. My dad did not win. I believe Bill Cuilen hosted the show for several years, but you never hear about it anymore when they talk about this show. There may have been other hosts as well, prior to Bob Barker. It was a weekly event in my home to watch Bill Cullen on this show every week. I assume they called the '72 version of the Bob Barker hosted show The New Price is Right for a reason. Anyone else remember the Original?

In the Bob Barker days, this show as an absolute 10. Bob Barker was very charming, entertaining, caring about the contestants, and just fun to watch. Announcer Rod Roddy made it all the more fun with his great sense of humor and wonderful talents. Then, things started to go down hill when Roddy's health deteriorated and sub-announcers made it boring. Luckily, Rich Fields was a good replacement announcer. As everyone knows, Drew Carey replaced Bob Barker in 2007 when Barker retired. It has never been the same. Drew is a comedian, not a game show host announcer. Now, even fields is gone, having been fired by the fools who couldn't see he was the only good thing left. The models are still pretty, but they don't have the charm the old ones did. The spirit of that show is really gone. Worse yet, the efforts to see the show in person are a nightmare. One must wait in line outside for hours, go through countless screenings and checks, and wait too long. The selection is extremely unfair, as they pick contestants on how you look in a very brief pre-screening, instead of fairly drawing names out of a hat. Security is very rude, and it is so loud in the studio--it's hard to even hear yourself think.Bob, you are sorely missed. In Rod We Trust to make the show comeback someday with a much better host than Drew Carey, and boot new announcer JD Roberto. Then, maybe loyal friends in true will be able to watch the show again. For now, the spirit of the show has died and is no longer worth watching if remember the past three decades and before to compare it to.

The price is right is one of the best shows ever created. It's funny to watch the contestants come on stage and kiss Bob and tell him how they have watched him for their whole lives or whatever their story is. It is always entertaining and Bob Barker is the best show host ever! It has always been funny to watch all the contestants praise him.I couldn't think of one thing that would make the price is right any better! Also the Price is Right Million Dollar Spectaculars are fun to watch even if they are exactly like The Price is Right. Probably because in general The Price is an awesome show, if you have never watched it You really haven't lived!!!If you could rate shows I would rate this one a 10!!!!!
