This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.

I was so disappointed it got canceled after second season. Seems like the TV networks are always canceling some of the best shows. Magnificent Seven even received couple of awards. I would think that should give the creators enough edge to keep the series running. But again like usual, it's probably the TV networks that's pulling all the plugs. Well, maybe the dvds will sell big and hopefully, they'll bring back the series. Highly doubt it, but keeping my hope high as usual. Magnificent Seven and Paradise were two of my favorite western series ever aired on TV. I am original fan of Magnificent Seven and the four sequel films as well. Anybody know when season 2 of Magnificent Seven is being released? I've watched my season 1 like four times already. I can't believe they didn't have special features on the DVD set. I hope the second season will contain some behind scenes footage. If anyone know the dates, please inform me. I hope its very soon. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Here in Holland they just started to show The Magnificent Seven, and even if the show isn't that good it is something to watch and to relax by!! I don't think that Michael Biehn is the best actor of the gang.I don't like his character. My favorite characters are Vin Tanner, played by Eric Close and Ezra, played by Anthony Starke. The only-one who really get on my nerves is Andy Kavovit's character,J.D.But everybody should now for him/herself what to think about this show!! I don't think it is the fault of the actors that the show isn't that good but the fault of the director. But,what I've just said before,if you just want a relaxed hour watching TV than this is the show for you!

This was an amazingly well crafted show, that was over too soon! In a market that was glutted with cookie-cutter dramas and sit-coms, Magnificent Seven was a welcome change. Sylistically, it didn't look like anything else on TV, and it certainly didn't have the same story lines as anything else on any other network. Unfortunately, westerns on TV were not destined to make a comeback that season. I'm a big fan of the original with Brynner and McQueen, and believe me -Biehn and Close were well able to fill those remarkable shoes! Eric Close even LOOKS like Steve McQueen! And believe me - the chemistry of the seven actors is something I've not seen on TV since - and likely will not see again. There was a friendship between all seven main actors, which made their characters easier to believe and twice as engaging to watch. This show had action, drama, comedy, brotherhood, and just a pinch of romance. It was clean enough, yet entertaining enough for younger kids to watch, and interesting enough to keep adults coming back each week. I think it's still viewable on the Hallmark channel, but not everyone has that channel available. What I wouldn't give for DVD's...

I've loved The Magnificent Seven since the day it aired. It broke my heart when CBS cancelled it. Apparently 12 million viewers wasn't enough. Now thanks to the internet it has grown from 12 million viewers to 20 million viewers. 3rd time will be the charm for this magnificent series to ride again. Hopefully with the same boys.
