It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

After just the first episode, this was my favorite show (at the time) on t.v. Why in the world it was canceled is beyond me. Netflix, Please, Please, Please pick it up!!Would love to see where the writers were going to take the story line. I wish it were at least a full season, instead of less than 15 episodes.

Only man who is a good guy is a homosexual (who has a "husband"), every other man is weak, adulterous, stupid, or a jerk. Wait--the pedophile man is also a good guy. He was wrongly accused and he has reason to be mad...he is incredibly unbelievable as he watches child porn but he has "never acted" on his urges and any chance he as to act on them he doesn't. WHAT is this based on? Certainly not real life. This is not a trait of pedophiles and child-molesters...do not think for one second that if they had the chances this guy had that they would leave a child alone. SO dumb. All the women are strong women, the daughter is a lesbian so of course there are lesbian sex scenes, the daughter and the son are sleeping with the same women--how perverse has our society become? It's all just so unbelievable. Classic PC characters and story.

Story telling is an art form. While there are many elements, plot development is basic. Then, there is conflict and struggle, and eventually some sort of resolution, either good (makes us happy) or bad (makes us sad or unhappy). Things can get complicated, surprising, confounding, and confusing, but in the end the story must have a resolution/ending. Unfortunately, this series was canceled after the first season was in the can. Perhaps it was unwise to try to stretch this story beyond one season. The entire story begs NOT to be a soap or a serial. Exactly where do you go once the conflicts are resolved with this plot? NO WHERE. And that's the problem. Someone decided mid-stream to stretch the series into another season. That's the way it was filmed. So, with no resolution to the conflicts, where does one go after seeing the last and final episode? Nowhere. I bet many will decide the time invested in watching this show is wasted.

Came upon this show by accident and am now addicted. I wait each week wondering what will happen this week. Great characters and they all suit their roles very well. I read reviews other people have written and some very negatively...I was quite surprised given the amount of garbage that is on TV these days that people would complain about this show that makes you think...but then again those are probably the same types who vote for Trump hey? I don't think the show will go further than one season though as the storyline seems to be finishing up...once they know that Adam is not Ben then the whole story is kind of done. Perhaps they should of just called it a mini-series....unless the real Adam is still alive then it will open a whole new season of investigation. Anyways this is a good show with a great storyline and as a parent I can imagine myself in their shoes.
