It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

After years of watching paranormal shows and movies, I can officially that The Dead Files ranks the lowest of lows. It disgusts me to see a show so fake and so childish to be allowed to be aired on television. Amy Allan and Steve DiSchiavi go in these so called "hunted" locations to try to "uncover" some imaginary truths and facts about that location. Now with most paranormal show they actually try to prove or show that it can be somewhat true, but with The Dead Files they leave you on facts they anyone could of made up or simply researched and unveil it to you with no prove to really back them up. As for Amy Allan and her so called "ability to see dead people." She somehow tries to present this information in a manner that makes you believe that she can't really see what's going on, but at the same time knows what happened in the house. She states the obvious about something, She says simple facts. I would not recommend this show to any friends or family. It is a waste of an hour and the commercials are more interesting to watch than these two lost rats try to figure out simple facts.

I really like the fact that you learn some history of the location being investigated, and about the people who previously lived at the location. I like Amy, Steve and Matt. They seem down to earth and people you could carry a conversation with easily. I've enjoyed the episodes and Amy has been spot on many times. If there are discrepancies with what she has felt, she is not afraid to discuss them. I find the show relaxing actually. It's like meeting neighbors who just happen to live in a haunted house! A friend of mine used to live in a house on Indian burial grounds and you would hear some strange sounds there. We just got used to it and called the resident spirit "Bob". Luckily nothing bad happened and I guess "Bob" settled in. So, I look forward to the show on Saturdays and just find it a necessary plus to a week!

I know a lot of people think this show is a hoax, and considering all the previous reality shows....its understanding! How ever, i believe that the dead files is a legit show! And i truly believe that Amy and Steve are trying to help others in need! Keep in mind, the families that are on this show are on it because they contacted Amy and Steve for there help, not the other way around! Yes, everyone obviously has different opinions on religion and what not, but regardless, the point is that Amy and Steve are trying to help families in need! In my opinion, Amy is trying to handle situation's the best way she can. Everyone might not agree with her opinion or how she may handle a certain situation, but i don't see anyone else stepping up to the plate to help these families! I appreciate both Steve and Amy for stepping up to the plate, they are amazing!
