In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

My wife and I were invited to watch a secret screening of a show while we were staying in Las Vegas, which turned out to be an episode of "The Crazy Ones".I will say straight of the bat that my wife and I are British so this does mean we may not necessarily agree with how Americans may see this show.Anyway we both watched the episode where the office gets a cold and they have to launch a doll. We had to track how much we laughed or found the script entertaining from 0 - 10, with 0 being get me out of here this is the worst, through to 10 were everyone should be laughing out loud. Anyway after watching the show for what seemed like an age it ended and I realised I hadn't even moved the dial to more that a 4 which was when the credits came up as I felt relief that this show was over. I asked my wife whether I had missed something as I didn't find the show funny in the slightest and the humour was extremely basic, almost virgin on what I might expect my children to watch on a Disney channel show. She also agreed that this was very basic and unoriginal and didn't laugh at all through the show. This was a real shame as Both my wife and I like Robin Williams, but the script in the show was just so weak not even he could lift it to any level. As for the rest of the characters neither my wife or I can remember any of them as they didn't engage us at all and we really didn't care what happened to them. The show tries to be clever but approaches things in such a childish manner it fails badly. Unfortunately this show sums up the stereo type view of humour the British have of American sitcoms - childish, basic and predictable As it happens this show hasn't made it to British shores which I guess means at least someone filtered this dross from spreading any further. But maybe this show reflects American culture and we Brits wont get it, after all the our shows, such as the Office, Inbetweeners, Queer as folk etc..... didn't translate well into US series.

I really like some of the movies that Robin Williams has done in the past and I was looking forward to this series with great anticipation. I actually hoped it would entertain me for 20 minutes on Thursday nights. However, I've been tricked and deceived by the hype and commercials and left disgusted. The show is not funny. The plots are horrible. The actors are sub-par. The scripts are typical liberal, homosexual, leftist Hollywood propaganda making a feeble attempt at changing our minds about morals by laughing at them. This has never been my idea of comedy, having been raised on black and white TV sitcoms of the 50's and 60's until the "rural purging" took place and ruined nighttime television forever. I have seen better comedy get canceled faster than this show, so the powers that be really like this venue. Tonights show of November 14, 2013 lasted about 5 minutes on my TV before I turned it off and wrote this diatribe. My hope is that this awful excuse for quality will flush down the nearest toilet and be gone soon. When will Hollywood get the idea that this doesn't work, it stinks.

I just watched the Breakfast Burrito Club episode I had DVR'ed, and died laughing at Hamish Linklater. This shows plays off of his quirkiness perfectly, and I think he stole this episode. (I loved him with the ducklings too.) I never, ever want to watch a show over again, but this one I rewound and watched his "tether ball squad" line again! I am so glad he is in a show again, and especially one that works so well with his personality. I couldn't have loved him more in this. I think Robin Williams is perfect here. He can be overboard, but does this series really well and I am thoroughly enjoying this show. I have grown tired of so much of the TV that is out right now, but this is a real winner in my book. CBS- you better keep this one!

I registered just to write this review because I think this series is highly under-appreciated. Robin Williams is simply brilliant. He always has a slightly tragic ring to his acting but this is what makes it great. If you like him you will like The Crazy Ones for sure. It's a light- footed heartwarming comedy that makes me smile and sometimes laugh for 20 minutes every week. It makes my week a brighter and happier one. The supporting actors vary between OK and pretty awesome. Sometimes I get the feeling some of them are only there to support Williams and Gellar and their jokes but some of them really are funny beyond that. Especially in episode 2 I had a good laugh when watching the whole duck business. My recommendation: Watch it!
