Stylish but barely mediocre overall

Good start, but then it gets ruined

I bought the first 4 dvd set I've watched homeland the blacklist prisoners of war now this is absolutely great SKY TV this is awesome .

First season 9/10, seasons 2-5 (culminating in 4) - pure joy, awesome acting choices and script! What happened in season 6 omg?! Total bloody dissapointment, replaced all the glorious actors with the saddest new bunch possible coupled with the said and pale script compared to those first genious seasons. Don't know what they were thinking but season 6 should not have been under the same title. Similar to tokyo drift of fast and furious, enough said. Please, do not make season 7 if you're not planning on bringing back Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton as main actors again.

So I have watched the first 5 seasons twice now since it came out and was high in anticipation when I heard season 6 was coming out, although from the first episode I was disappointed, however I thought I'd give it a chance, but as every episode went on it just got more and more stupid and unrealistic. And I think Chris Ryan has been massively let down by this last season from Cinemax. I will give this a solid 5 stars for the first 5 seasons but the last season doesn't deserve even one star. All in all a disappointed strike back fan

So what can i say. Loved the seasons 1-5, but season 6... please make it stop..Im just waiting for a few more "popular" addins: like maybe a homosexual reationship between some characters and add few asian/black/mexican characters as there is obuviously too many and too strong heterosexual main characters here and could you bring up more of how in charge ladies are and how good they are in season 6 ? Yeah this is almoust as bad as the last StarWars what comes to casting and roles and how stuff if portrayed... (read between the lines what I mean here).I had to dig deep and after watching the pilot episode of S6 I watched my Season 2 DVD ep1. Its so horrible how these 2 episodes differ. The quality, the feeling, the overal athmostphere GODDAM they dont make them like they used to.In short DONOT TOUCH SEASON 6. Saviour the memory you had from Strike Back and let it be.. let it be.Season 1-5 = Solid 10 stars Season 6 = Solid 0 starts (can only go low as 1)
