This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Star Wars: Clone Wars is the only micro-series to come from the Star Wars name, and it's a very entertaining series that condenses all we've loved from The Original Trilogy: all packed into 20 two-to-three minute episodes in Volume 1, and 5 twelve-minute ones in Volume 2.Cartoon Network proved its worth just from obtaining the Star Wars name alone, and this payed off significantly for them as they got the 'sequel' series to this: Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which would be computer animated and air from 2008-2014. Both Clone Wars shows give the fans what they want: lightsaber action, dogfights in space, and smooth, smooth editing.Short and sweet as can be, this show is.

Honestly the only reason this gets only a 9/10 is for wiggle room. I feel like this is best when watched as a movie and the story is amazingly crafted. The villains are the main forces behind the story, driving it forward by sending bad-ass villains out and the villains really are great. In general the action is fantastic having fluid movement and satisfying sounds. In many ways it is like Samurai Jack having many quiet moments, little dialogue and lots of visual storytelling. The arcs are well set up with great cliffhangers and it never becomes boring, ensuing your continued attention. The characters don't speak much but they do develop and interact realistically. Really my only issue with the story is that it's stuck within the titular Clone Wars, preventing it from having a "complete" ending though that's not to say it isn't satisfying. There isn't much more to say honestly. Excellent animation, compelling characters, well told story, AMAZING villains and great music and sound effects. If you haven't watched this yet trust me it's worth it. If you have then well... watch it again? It's that good.

Star Wars Episode 1 and 2 are quite controversial films that true Star Wars fans think stink like garbage, but Star Wars: Clone Wars doesn't let down. It's got great action, great stories, and expands the Star Wars saga further. And it's a darn cartoon! Can you believe that a great action show is a 2-D cartoon? All our favorites from the prequels are in this show. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Mace Windu and many more. What makes this show so remarkable is the way the series leads up to Revenge of the Sith, as a matter of fact, the very last scene is a shot of the Battle of Coruscant. I also enjoyed the lightsaber duels in this series, particularly the one between Anakin and Asajj Ventress. In the end, this is an incredible mini-series, and fills in the gap between Episode 2 and 3. It's too bad every episode was too god darn short!

From the creator of "Dexter's Laboratory" (once my favorite kids' show) comes an unjustly praised exercise in beating up "Star Wars" for more lunch money. Genndy Tartakovsky's brilliantly surreal animation is here, but this is supposed to be (at least remotely) dramatic, so the style doesn't fit. In fact, the characters look like goofy sub-par video game renderings that make this feel like a clunky, fan-fodder horror from beyond. The truth is, this is not just a miserable story, it's a miserable way to tell a miserable story, destroying all hope for half-decency. In context, nothing in this drivel can feel quite real. If you really want to see "Star Wars," you'd find more in the dreadfully stupid "Attack of the Clones" than this, which was little more than a piece of meat thrown to the ravening masses. If you have millennia of patience and don't experience headaches induced by severe stupidity and banality, enjoy.
